Awesome
Bought this for my wife so that she can back into the hobby with our kids and I. She likes the way it handles and the speed it has just on NiMh battery. The disappointing part was that the batteries sent with it for the transmitter were dead, same with the battery for the truck. Luckily we had some batteries for the transmitter as well as a spare battery for the truck that we fully charged. But still disappointed that none of the batteries worked out of the box

Broke in 1st week of use- watch out for water!
Son drove it through a puddle (it says waterproof) and hasn't been working since. We've used it less than a week. Now looking for places to help figure out what needs to be repaired.

Car won’t move
All was good just the motor sounds like the gear has slipped out or isn’t connecting. Looking for a replacement/return and Amazon isn’t approving it I’ve only had the truck since January 4th

Broken product, horrible return policy, ghosted by Dollar Hobbyz
Charged it overnight, got it turned on, and took it outside to drive around the driveway with my daughter. After 5-10 minutes of driving in circles and getting used to the speed, it suddenly stopped working. Steering works and the motor turns when I hit the trigger, but the wheels don't turn. I took the top off and noticed that the shaft under the motor isn't turning when the motor does. $160 for 10 minutes of driving is ridiculous. Messages I've sent to Dollar Hobbyz have all gotten a canned response telling they'll get back to me as soon as they can but with no follow up whatsoever. Also left them a voicemail two days ago but no call back from that, either. I even tried to do a return, but they charge an 80% restocking fee to any item that is opened. EDIT: eventually talked to them and they put me in touch with a Traxxas, where I was able to find the spare parts and fix the truck for about $3.

Broke suspension within 2 minutes of use in a paved driveway!
Ordered it for my son for Christmas. He was so excited! BUT... 2 minutes of running it down the paved driveway and it broke the suspension! So right away I had to order parts! Not impressed! Parts came in pretty quick and now he's happy again! Let's hope this doesn't happen again!

Fun car
I have an older teton and wanted to buy a new one. The first is still running, it is nice fun car for casual rc and beginners. Wanted to buy a new one from amazon but it is overpriced by the seller, wish amazon was selling them directly.
