Q: Will a "gamma seal lid" fit this bucket?

Yes, it took a bit of muscle to install initially but it's a perfect fit once connected.

Q: Is the padded lid on Shurhold 5 gallon buckets easy to secure and remove? I hope to use this as a campground shower caddy and seat.

I have not noticed that it was difficult to remove and I sit on it and take the lid off every time I use it. What I really like is the thick, soft rope handle. If you have ever carried a regular bucket with the metal handle with any weight in it, you will know what I mean.

Q: is the logo on the bucket imprinted or a decal and is it on both sides?

Decal and yes, on both sides. Bucket works great, however you have to remember to remove the grate before you dump it out.
