Sandia 40-1000 4 Gallon Solution Tank with Super-Drain Valve

Hardware, solution tubing, seem to be good quality. Time will tell if corrosion begins.. The main problem here is the solution tank opening is 4" wide...? You better be a good shot to keep from spilling , while filling this tank...? What puzzles me is how these drain valves became more expensive than the tank itself...? And no replacements drain valves available...? Same brass connecting rods, same set up as in our first solution tank set up from 30 years ago... We will see how super this drain valve is...
