There are two things that I don't like about this kit. The wool is identified by letters which is good, but the paper pattern is the same and it is so small and with the letters running into each other makes it difficult to see. It is so small that I used my tablet to take a picture of the area to see what letters I need to use. My eye sight is quite good, but this is so tiny it adds eye strain. The rug hook tool that they sent is useless in my opinion. It is smaller than a pencil and be difficult to get a grip on.For the pro's they did a nice job on the backing and I think once I get over the letter issue it will turn out fine. I have done a lot rug hooking and normally the canvas has the same colors that you need to use to do the rug. Not in this case. They only outline the wolves head. I would not buy another of these from Lubots.

This is very poorly made. The item is 5inches too small. Also the print directions are for the larger size so do not correspond with the actual item.Have ordered several different latch hooks and have never had this problem before.

Another 3 week delivery from a location within a 1 day ride. Again, not sure if it will be in before Christmas. Was supposed to be in on 9th Dec. Now the 18th

It has been years since I've done latch hook and thought it would be nice to find a couple for me and my 9 yr old to do together. I got her the Latchkits rainbow and I got this wolf kit for myself. The canvas is very nice, with the complete edging and backing. It comes in a nice folder type of container with a snap closure...very nice way to store it even when you are finished. I love everything about it except the tool. The tool is thin and very cheap. Unfortunately between the hook and the dangle part where you wrap the yarn over, the tool is rough and the canvas and yarn both have caught on it and has snared me more than a handful of times. Since it has been years since I've done this I don't have any extra tools laying around to replace so I'm going to buy another one to continue. I love it otherwise!

I wanted to love this kit. The backing is very nice, and it was easy to hook, despite being pre-backed. The key is in color, and is very easy to read. However, the printing on the canvas is VERY far from the key, and I found the canvas printing confusing. If I had followed the canvas as the directions state, I would not have an image which resembles the one on the photo at all. My biggest problem, however, is that unlike more expensive kits, this one does not tell you how much of each color you need OR are sent. I began this project in late October with the intention of make it a Christmas present. I do not have NEARLY enough of the sky blue yarn to complete it - I presume I'm missing at least two bundles. I have WAY more of both red colored yarn than I need, so I'm presuming there may have been an issue there. I've purchased some similar yarn and after impressing my DH into work cutting lengths for me, I intend to finish the project, though it will not match perfectly. I wanted to like this kit, but it has become a major hassle and disappointment. To be entirely truthful, Amazon latch hook kits are pretty terrible. If you want a good kit, I suggest shopping elsewhere.
