Twisty. Gripping. Suspenseful.
"We all hide behind the version of ourselves we let the rest of the world see." WOW! Just WOW! I won't give away the page number but during the first 1/3 of the book, I took a wild guess as to who I thought was the murderer and then I added another one to the list shortly after that and it turns out that I was right. I loved how I kept getting pulled in different directions as to who it was. It was one of the first two that I thought all along but then there were twists towards the end that led me into another direction until the very last part where it was revealed who it was and I was right all along. It was just a lucky guess and I thought I had spoiled it for myself but the twist and turns had me second guessing the whole time. Highly recommend this book especially if you've read a lot of suspense/thrillers. This one will leave you guessing the entire time. A few quotes to save for later. "Home is not always where the heart is. For people like me, home is where the hurt lives that made us into who we are." -- Anna Andrews "You can't help someone find their way if they won't admit they're lost." -- Jack Harper "In the future, I expect people will long for fifteen minutes of privacy, rather than fifteen minutes of fame." -- Anna Andrews

His and Hers
His and hers is a psychological thriller by author Alice Feeney. Not usually a big fan of those but I really love that author since au debut novel Sometimes I lie and this one is really good. You have 3 different PoV , him, her and another one that is the truth about who's doing the murders. Anna is working hard as a TV presenter of the BBC’s lunchtime news and is now the main one. She will be ask to cover a murder in Blackdown, her hometown, and doesn't want to go but she won't have a choice. But soon she will not only cover it but also will be at the center of it. DCI Jack is Anna ex-husband. There relationship comes to an end when their daugther died a couple of years ago. He never tought to be working in Blackdown. When to body of a young woman is found, he will hide that he knew her but soon realize is one of the suspect in his own investigation. And Anna also knew the victim... I keep guessing until the end who was the murderer and didn't see the twist in the end coming. Totally recommend this book.

Great Read!!
Alice Feeney weaves the narrative through the alternating voices of Anna, a BBC journalist sent back to her hometown to report on a woman’s murder, and Jack, the DCI leading the investigation. As the case unfolds, both of them drift from observers to possible suspects. Someone is hiding the truth. Someone is manipulating the story. And the reader is left constantly questioning who can be trusted. I was completely hooked from the first page and couldn’t stop reading. The tension is relentless, the pacing razor-sharp, and the twists land with precision. Feeney excels at writing layered, complicated women, and Anna—flawed, guarded, and openly unreliable—was impossible not to root for. The addition of a third, anonymous, genderless narrator was a bold move that amplified the suspense and kept me second-guessing everything. I searched for clues, formed theories, abandoned them, and formed new ones, only to be wrong again and again. What makes this story even more compelling is the personal history between the two main narrators: one reports on the crime, the other investigates it—and they used to be married. Their emotional baggage, secrets, and conflicting versions of the past add depth and intensity to every chapter. Surprisingly, I found myself just as invested in Jack’s perspective as Anna’s; he is complex, morally gray, and fascinating to unravel. The plot is tightly constructed, the reveals perfectly timed, and the conclusion immensely satisfying. Every thread is woven together with care, making the final payoff feel earned and unforgettable. His & Hers is a gripping, intelligent, and emotionally charged thriller that lingers long after the last page.
