Buy it
I live in an 1850s house but it has had a lot of work done to it to better insulate it. This has led to terrible condensation build up, on windows and a wall upstairs. Electrician mentioned this as a solution. Two days after installation first really cold night, no condensation. The difference is absolutely incredible. Stick it on the lowest setting and just forget about it all winter. Stop reading all the silly articles about sticking plants in your room and messing about moving dehumidifiers about (used to be me) get this and live in a condensation free home. Also on setting one it is silent

it looks and works just like a Nuaire unit.
What I like: We had massive problems with condensation in our small home. The windows were always wet even during summer. This little device cured the problem within a week. The house smells better, the windows are clear, ther mirror in the bathroom doesn't fog up as much anymore and it feels like the heating gets the house warmer, faster.Dislike:The unit is the basic model with attic controls and no heating element. It's literally a cheap plastic box with a rotary fan that sucks air through 2 filters and blows it into the house at speeds of 1-6, based on your preference. For what it is I think it's too expensive. It should not cost 360€. Half that would be fair.

Not working for me
We live in a 1930's bungalow & fitted this ourselves by attaching a plug and 1amp fuse. Took a bit of jiggery pockety getting the tube into position but eventually we were up and running. Our loft is vented and can see the light through the gaps but disappointingly the condensation is still there. We've cranked it up to setting 5, so there is a bit of a cold wind tunnel in our hall blowing downstairs. It's 1 degree tonight, we havent yet gone to bed and already my windows have condensation.Yes, its very cheap to run but doesnt do what my humidifier does.Noise is not really that noticable.Bit of an expensive kit that doesnt live up to the hype.

It really works
Always had a problem with condensation since moving into our bungalow, we’ve tried different things. This unit sorted the problem straight away, no condensation on the windows the next day after fitting.

Not for me
I'm not saying this is a bad bit of kit, I'm just saying it doesn't work for me.I'm still getting tones of condensation and still having to put dehumidifier daily.Just pumps more cold air into house. Had to turn off during that really cold spell before Xmas.Pics are 3 days after install.Complete waste of money from my point of view.

Basic, effective and cheaper than a dehumidifier
On the surface, this is a simple device draws warm dry air from your loft and pumps it down into your house. Two filter bags prevent dust and cobwebs being sucked up and expelled down into your house. It's basic, but pretty effective at reducing moisture levels in your home. Maybe not as effective as a dehumidifier, but a lot cheaper to run and a lot less noisy.A few tips: don't install near bathrooms or extractor vents - I made the mistake of initially locating in the hallway outside the bathroom. It sucked in air from the loft but all the air was forced out the bathroom vents in a short channel. Good for the bathroom, but it this works best when in a seemingly "sealed" house. Closing the bathroom door forced the air out across the rooms further away across the house, reducing moisture in the entire property. It took a few days to notice the difference, but it does work and we're seeing less (but not zero) condensation on the windows. Remember that you'll also need to replace the filters after a few years, but again much cheaper to do this than run a dehumidifier 24/7.
