Another fine camera from Samsung
I like this Samsung Galaxy S21 Plus. I've had a Samsung Galaxy since the S2, and I've liked them enough to keep with them. I will continue to use the Samsung Galaxy S10e that this S21+ is replacing simply because of its compact size. It still does very well with the things I have a Smart Phone for, phone calls, text messaging, photo sharing and searching/downloading off the web. The bigger screen, faster processor are notible differences. I have not done any photo taking yet, but I'm sure it will be just fine with me, as I like the Samsung S10e pictures.

Device may have significant functional defects and user security/privacy concerns.
The phone I received (after I had logged into my Google account and transferred personal data to the device); was found to have a 3rd party app still installed which CLAIMED OWNERSHIP OF THE PHONE. Uninstallation of the app, which said that it had administrative privileges and that anyone with access to the base program could view/alter content of the phone; was allowed, yet the app warned it may leave residual holes in the phones security. After deleting the app, I notified Amazon about this seller potentially selling devices which were not completely initialized and may still be under the control of the device's previous owner.Since I don't sell/send-off data storage devices which I have entered personal information into, I will not be opting to swap for another potentially more defective unit.It has now been discovered that this device drops connection from WiFi without notification nor any indication of connection loss- except that messages cannot be received over WiFi until the WiFi connection is disconnected/re-enabled or the phone is restarted: this seems to happen almost daily and will likely force me into an unlimited data phone plan, on account of needing reliable connection while at home- assuming it won't require the SIM card to be removed and reinserted due to a similar issue with cellular connectivity.Company declined to refund me anything, citing that the 50% refund I requested was "more than they would ever offer;" yet I believe they were reluctant to offer any partial refund, due to my notifying them that I threw them under the bus to Amazon's customer service. This is the type of device reseller who would shamelessly sell stolen property- because they can always offer a device swap if they're found out. They are unaccountable for tricking Amazon customers into trusting devices they were in charge of making safe/secure for the customer, yet they are wholly unaccountable to the potential damages which their negligence may allow.Due to this experience, my family will no longer trust Amazon's refurbished phone resellers, like we have in the past.

Great Price!
Phone works amazing, has plenty of space and storage. The only downside is there is no where to insert an external SD card. Also, I have Amazon Prime, and opted to have the phone overnighted to a Amazon locker because I needed the phone ASAP, but, somehow the phone wasn't delivered the next day. So, I called Amazon, spoke to a representative and the representative proceeded to tell me that the seller had not sent it out, and that there was no update and the only option would be to cancel the order and order it again. So, I had to order the phone again, from a different seller, and wait another day. It took a total of 3 days to get the phone. Other than all that, no other issues.

Great phone, but can't update
So I purchased this phone in 2022. Don't get me wrong I love this phone and it is still in great condition, not a scratch or crack in sight. The only thing is, I don't get updates. I cannot update my phone. I am probably like 3 1/2 years behind in updates. When I try to update my phone it's says "Your current software version isn't supported. Visit a service center" The last update was October 22, 2021. Like I mentioned the phone is in great condition but I think updates are necessary to receive full functionality of the phone. I don't know what the previous carrier was so I believe that's preventing me from receiving updates. Even the phone is unlocked it is still locked to previous carrier. I will not be purchasing an unlocked phone ever again.
