Q: Does the eagle fit in a 8ft pole

Fits over the pole. Adapter inside diameter is 7/8-Inch - Threaded bottom without adapter is 13/16-Inch Fits 15/16in - 1.25in wooden poles that have tapering to 7/8-inch or 13/16-inch for a flush fit

Q: How deep is the threaded ball without the lower pipe attachment? Our pole has a 1" threaded end that came with a screw on ball.

That's difficult to answer of coarse its as deep as the thread on the staff bracket supplied with it. But it could be deeper. I was replacing a similar staff topper and the adapter supplied fit our staff so I was a happy camper. Is your pole top thread section removable or is it part of the pole? They may be a match.

Q: Is the entire eagle (including the eagle wings) aluminum... or just the flag pole adapter?

The eagle is a cast material. It may be aluminum. Its a very nice topper for an American flag. I bought a can of gold spray paint to apply to it every year or so, to keep it looking great.

Fits 3/4 inch copper tubing perfectly!

This gold eagle feels sturdy and looks terrific. What I really like is 3/4 inch copper tubing slides inside the base without any additional adapters, making it versatile for multiple decorating applications.

Good replacement for an eagle from an older flag pole

My local city council had a flag pole that had a similar eagle on top. Some how, its right wing had been broken off. For years, the one-winged eagle set on top of the pole until I couldn't stand it any longer, so I ordered this replacement. I was worried that it wouldn't fit the old flag pole, but it fit perfectly and was so easy to replace. And it looks better (more shiny & new) than the one it replaced.

This proud Eagle secures on the top of your indoor flag pole two ways: a "jam" fit secured by two brads. Or twist off this base for use on a pole with screw top. This makes it functional in two ways. The "plus" is the detail in the feathers of the fine Official Bird of our Nation. Front and back are accented with the texture of feathers.
