Q: Can I install the shelf in my shower?

The mounts in the carton assume Sheetrock walls. The Glass shelf would not be great in a shower (fear of being hit by an arm) Overall, I'd NOT recommend it.

Q: How does the glass secure inside the mounts? Can the glass be removed easily to access the top of the toilet tank if mounted above toilet?

There's a set screw with a flat silicone tip on the end so it won't break the glass, which I believe is tempered. So it may be easily removed. We're very happy with it.

Q: Can you tell me exact thickness or wall bracket opening size ?

bracket opening and glass are 5/16"

Q: Do you need a power Drill to install these?

you should, it will make the install a lot easier
