Bought these to use on my deck, initially intending them for the canopy. Had a different solution for canopy lights, and used these to line the edges. Not as bright as expected, but functional. Easy to install, multi-pattern color, nice accent strings. Much smaller in diameter than expected, but this turned out to be a good thing, as I had wiring fasteners which worked well with them. Mounting the solar panel/controls were challenging, as they are apparently only intended to be mounted on the included stakes, and the controls are on the panels. Used conduit mounts, which worked well, but accessing the controls on one unit is less than convenient, a remote would have been a nice addition. For the $$, these are awesome lights, even so.

So I bought these for our mail box. wasn't expecting awesome for the price, but being solar we hoped they would at least work. out of the box, it was nicely packaged, clear instructions and clean.batteries were d.o.a. so we are waiting on a charge to finalize an opinion.the rope is flimsy and the solar stands are fragile. broke one taking it out of the box.But all in all decent, like I said, waiting on a charge to validate the brightness of the light strand

Solar powered twinkle lights for special purposes. Use these for an outside tree that's difficult to wire. Note that the time they twinkle appears to vary between strings. I have two... one lasts through the night and the other one not so long. These get four stars because of the variability of the power source. Also, note that the lights are small and spaced relatively far apart. That said, they're hassle free and convenient.

ONE SET WORKS OK THE OTHER IS WEAK.

Put them on a couple sections of the tree.. bought more to light up the entire tree!! Looked amazing all in sync. Held up great in the rain and cold. Packed away nicely for next Christmas.
