Q: Do these contain lead or cadmium?

Our KATI Cups are made from food grade ceramic. They are BPA-Free and Prop65 compliant. This means they are Lead and Cadmium free.

Q: Will tea bags work also or does it have to be loose leaf tea?

Our pyramid infusers can work in these cups. You may not need to use the infuser basket however. You can simply let the tea bag steep directly in the cup, or you can use the little metal stem to bend over the lip of the cup to hold the infuser in place.

Q: Does the product use food grade steel?

Yes. Our tea ware is made with food grade safe metal and ceramics.
