One of our pups used to eat her food in 48 seconds!! Yes, we timed her. Our second pup ate much slower and could not eat in peace. We slather a little wet dog food under the kibble in this tray and she is still eating even after the other one is done.This tray has been indestructible so far and our girl is a chewer. We are very pleased with the purchase. It's a little thing that has created more harmony in our household.

We recently got a new dog and he came with some separation anxiety, which gets him into trouble. I was worried he'd chew the mat and tray, but so far he hasn't. He's not a huge fan of peanut butter so we use cheese. It didn't take long for him to start looking forward to getting it, so it makes it easier for us to get out the door and occupies some of his time while we are gone. As long as the tray is against the wall it doesn't slide all over the floor as he licks it, and surprisingly doesn't make a mess. Dishwasher safe so far on the top rack, I wash them maybe 2x a week, not after every use. It's a little pricey for what it is, but it does work so can't complain too much.

I love this thing! I have a senior cat who has poor eyesight. When we used a typical little cat bowl he would almost face plant into it to find his food and get food up his nose. We tried plates but he would lick food off the edge and loose it and it left a mess. This bowl is shallow enough that he don’t get food up his nose but it’s got a little lip to keep the lick mat in place so his food doesn’t try to run away from him. The lick mat keeps his food from migrating and helps him eat slower. It’s sturdy too! My dog unfortunately got a hold of it and chewed a hole in the lick mat. This is a dog that can dismantle a baseball in 30 seconds and she only got about a dime sized hole in it so I was pretty impressed. My cat don’t seem to care so we’re just using it with the hole in it. If you have a senior or special needs cat or small dog this is a fantastic product! I might get another one for my other cat who is a chow hound!

The large area slowed down our Lab’s eating, while making it easier for him than traditional slow bowls. He’s getting up there in years and got tired taking so long to dig food out of the traditional bowl with fingers to slow him down. Since 2 cups of food are spread thin, he can’t gulp it down all at once.

My dog LOVES this thing (and my cats do too). However, they don't seem to get absolutely everything out of every crevice. Hand washing, I'm having a hard time too. I don't know if you can put it in the dishwasher; I should go back and check. But it serves it's purpose!

I have several slow feeders for my puppy, but this one requires him to lick his food which slows him down the most. He also doesn't bite the mat, where he bites his bowls. It's easy to clean with a spray function on my faucet. Without that, it would be harder. My only complaint is that I'd like for there to be a larger size option. I have to divide my puppy's food in 2 portions with this mat. Love that there is a tray that fits it.

This Lick pad is great. My dog loves it and it keeps him busy for at least 30 minutes. I would recommend getting a scrub brush for cleaning especially if you use peanut butter.

We are ordering another one! Perfect for this summer and summer time treats. We put prescription can mush in it this time. Perfect for dogs that suffer IBD and owners need to be creative as all they can have it prescribed food.I love how it doesn’t move all over place. Our boy didn’t tear it licking it as he has with other products. Very sturdy! We supervise our boy with all products we buy. Was not paid write this review.
