I like these very much (time will tell, of course)
Very solid. The metal "nail" is sharp and goes into the bottom of a wooden leg easily. I hope these last. Seemingly a great value..

These pads are awesome for wood chairs.
Good product, easy to install. This is second time we've purchased for our Amish Oak Dining room chairs. Seems like work great for about 5 years, then they are ready for a replace if you want chairs to slide well on wood floor. Have not had any come loose like adhesive style. Also seem to hold up better than adhesive style pads because they have the plastic ring to support the pad. Steve

Good quality and less expensive than others
I use felt pads on several chairs and stools that sit directly on a hardwood floor. Over the years I've tried several different kinds. I've come to the conclusion that real felt pads have to be installed with a hammer. Anything that claims to bond or glue itself to the bottom of a chair leg that slides on a hardwood floor just will not last. This type of felt pad has a small, circular section of tubing that gets nailed into the bottom of the chair leg. I've found that it takes quite a bit of force compared to the felt pads that have a thin nail or brad holding them in, but these tend to hold better. Once they're in place they're REALLY in place, and nothing short of prying them up and out of the chair leg with a prybar will remove them very easily. It's no picnic hammering them into something like hard maple or walnut, but the results are worth it. These are less expensive than some of the others I've bought in the past ($8 for 48 count vs. $5 for 8 count) but the quality appears to be just as good. I have enough here to do all of my chairs with a few left over.

They're okay.
They work well for a bit, then they get dirty. They collect every kind of lint, hair, dust and fur so you need to pick that gross stuff off every once in a while. We use these on our kitchen table chairs since we have hardwood floors. They work to protect the floors, but once they get dirty it's kind of gross to clean off. We also have kids so any type of wet food spilled will also make these sticky. The chairs no longer glide easily on the hardwood floors. I've tried scraping the bottoms, even sanding the bottoms of the felt to 'freshen' it up. Nothing works! I bought these in 2018 and I'm still searching for something that can work better. I guess they only last so long and you need to replace them? I wish there was something that works as well as these, but you could wash. Here I am in 2022 buying them again. Or will I?

Awesome
Okay, where have these been all my life? I have a dining room set with lots of chairs. We recently had our hardwood floors beautifully refinished and I was determined not to let what happened before to them happen again. Before, every chair had two sets of scratch marks on the floors. I tried those awful light brown stick on ones and after about a month, they came off. So, I stuck them back on with super glue, figuring I'd tricked them, but they started coming off again. Not only did they come off, but a sticky residue came off on our floors and was torture to get off. So, I went looking for a solution.I thought these were priced a bit high, but when I read the reviews, there were several who'd mentioned the same thing I'd gone through with the sticky residue and I knew I had to buy them. I can't begin to say how pleased I am with these pads. They go on super easily. I had each chair done in about 30 seconds (that includes pulling off the old pads and plastic pads that came with the chairs. For those who are confused about the "nail", there are no nails with this. It's a pad that is fused to a base and then the base has a 1/4" or so diameter circle that gets hammered into the wood on the chair leg. Goes in super easy and stays put. Put them on and forget about it, they're not coming off. Highly recommend.

These work great and are tough.
These are thick and strong and my go to pads now. I've bought several packages and put them on many chairs, and wooden chairs that can accept them. They last longer than the hardware stores versions.
