My Backyard Bird Book: Fun Facts & Surprising Secrets

This book has beautiful full page color photos of birds with some great information .However, I was totally surprised and disappointed to find 32 pages in the middle all about the Montessori Dictionary by Ms Oksana Koval..... surely a publishing error which spoils the beautiful bird book I bought for my grandson, totally bizarreOtherwise it would have been 5*

This book is great. My grandson is four and loves birdwatching. He understands the maps that show where the specific bird’s habitat is. The best part is probably the use of common items...jelly beans, coins, batteries... to relate each bird’s weight.

This book has all the birds in it that come to my backyard. Beautiful pictures! Makes them easy for children to identify.

Rather disappointed. Fun facts are limited and not necessarily what I’d want to know. I want to know what their nests look like, where do they build them, what do their eggs look like, how long to hatching etc. weight means nothing really. What surprising secrets? Don’t waste your money if you want your kid to learn something about these birds.
