Forever Living 3 X Aloe Lips Balm - Soothe,Moisturize,Heal & Protect Lips

This is my my favorite chapstick to use to keep my lips soft. I also use it on my handicapped daughter’s lips to keep them moist. She is non verbal so she doesn’t talk or eat anything by mouth so keeping her lips soft is a task. This chapstick does the job and I continue to by it over and over again.

Works pretty good. Used for years now. Stays on for long and keeps lips moist for hours. Size is perfect and fits easily into any pocket or purse. Rated 4.5 for lack of shine/glow, but otherwise, gets the job done.

Ever since Blistex DCT removed aloe this year, which used to be the first ingredient, and put camphor first, my lips have suffered terribly. I have chronically chapped, raw lips that are sensitive to many ordinary ingredients in lip balms, which have never worked for me in stick-form. I hate the smell of camphor, too, like in Carmex. In desperation I tried Forever Aloe Lips along with a bunch of other balms containing aloe that had high ratings on Amazon, and nothing has compared to this one!—I'm no longer miserable and my lips are soft and pain-free. Not only does it feel healing but the texture is pleasant and creates the kind of protective barrier that the tissue needs to heal as one eats, talks, or sleeps. It is not sticky and should be applied lightly at first. The only drawbacks are that it comes in only one flavor, which is not unpleasant but a little like a mild cherry chapstick. I wish it came in a neutral or mint flavor, but it is not overpowering and the taste/scent wear off after awhile, though the balm itself stays put. The other thing to be careful of is, because it is so creamy, if you keep it in your pocket, or in a hot car, it will soften some. Just keep it rolled down a little so that it isn't messy when opened, and simply blot it across your lips to apply enough product. I prefer Forever Aloe Lips to balm in a pot in public, too, where it's not convenient to wash my hands first or deal with messy fingertips. It is made in the USA, too, with what seem high-quality ingredients. I'm so tired of companies "improving" formulas only to ruin them. Please don't change this product unless it is to add new flavors!

I have many allergies and sensitivities. Do ok with plain petroleum jelly but really hate to use it repeatedly on my lips. Plain olive oil works ok, but hard to carry in my purse, etc. Thus, I gratefully pay the extra money for this lip conditioner as: 1. It is the only lip product i have found that is actually healing for when my lips are chapped; 2. I don't have a reaction to anyting in the ingredients; 3. It feels very soothing to my chronically dry lips.
