Sunclear Natural Sunscreen SPF 30 5.29 Ounces

Have been looking for a good mineral sunscreen and put it to the test on vacation in Maui. This Sunclear by Grahams Natural blew everything , natural mineral and chemical sunblocks we used out of the water. The pros: glides on easily!!! (Unlike most zinc based sunscreens). No white cast , no heavy rubbing in needed. Is very protective!!! I often had just this on for well over four hrs (on a boat not swimming ) and could tell I was still protected. This stuff is seriously water resistant, like in the shower after swimming at the beach all day , water beads on your skin. There is no stinging of eyes at all ever!!! It smells great, it feels great on the skin too my boyfriend didn't listen to me and put sunblock on and got burnt then put this on and said his skin felt better putting it on. It just feels good on the skin and feels good knowing it's healthy for you and the ocean's reef as its reef safe.Cons? It is a thick sunblock for maybe an everyday limited sun exposure kind of day I suppose. It would not do as an under makeup type block. You would look a little shiny. It's also expensive (although I think it has excellent ingredients so might be worth it). I also wish the size of the tube was larger. It's also not as readily available as other sunblocks in the US which is a shame . I bought some expensive Hawaiian organic block and it is nowhere as good. I can't believe this hasn't caught on. Especially for the long wear time even in water.Anyway I really like this and will stock up and try other Grahams products

No doubt, this is pricey for a sunscreen. The sunscreen does work, and I like the way it goes on my skin and face. However, the bottle appeared to be very empty. I know this sounds weird, but it is a brand new bottle and I have to squeeze super hard and push everything down to the lid in order to get anything out of it. And it is a BRAND NEW BOTTLE. I honestly feel like I paid a lot of money for this and didn't get very much product. I was hoping to replace this over the spray sunscreens because I know they're bad for our health. But I don't think I can pay this much money for the little amount of product you get. I did contact the company and the response back to me was not the kindest. Their response to my email said that my complaint "makes no sense." They said the bottles are weighed by ounces so there's no way they can be wrong. They refused my return. I will try to add a photo of my brand new bottle and how much I have to squeeze it in order to get the smallest amount out in the bottle. More than anything, customer service was a disappointment.

No white cast / residue!* Highest possible concentration of zinc oxide* A little greasy, but nothing unusual for sunscreenI had two rounds of Accutane and use Retin-A, so my skin is incredibly prone to burning. I've burned with 100 SPF Sunscreen on. I've burned at twilight, with a hat on. So when you need the best sun protection in the world, who better to turn to than Australia?The verdict:A little greasy-looking (it is oil-based, so no big surprise there), but amazing protection! So much zinc oxide; highest concentration I've ever found (in fact, the highest legal concentration, I believe). The kicker? ZERO WHITE CAST! ZERO! Even without rubbing it in. The clearest zinc sunscreen I've ever encountered! (and I own about 12 sunscreens from multiple countries and have tested and rejected dozens more, looking for the highest protection and least white-cast.)

This is the best sunscreen I have ever used. It's the only sunscreen I can use on my face; every other sunscreen I've tried gives me a rash (ones using chemical blockers are the worst but I even get rashes when using other expensive zinc sunscreens). Living in Australia, I use sunscreen every day and apply it several times a day so finding a good product is especially important. This sunscreen actually improves my skin (softer, fewer blemishes of any kind) when I use it. It also goes on completely clear. It's expensive so I only use it on my face (and use cheaper zinc sunscreens on the rest of my body) but it's definitely worth it, especially if you have sensitive skin. It's now the only sunscreen I'm willing to put on my face.
