A basic but sturdy and helpful tool!
This item was utilized to replace a battery in a Motorola Droid Turbo 2 and worked quite well! I first used it to get underneath the back cover after using a heatgun to loosen the adhesive. Upon accessing the battery area, it was useful in removing the black tape on the battery without tearing it so that the tape could be reused. Then it was used to pry the battery off of the back half of the case. This is a basic but sturdy tool that I will likely use in many other projects!

Thin Flexible and Durable
This is a great tool for working on small electronics. Whether you need to open something up or scrape glue it can get the job done. This spudger is a must have for any tech, plus it is much cheaper than some other name brand options while working just as well.

Worked for my repair purposes!
This little guy did the job for me. I only had to do one repair, so keep that in mind I don't know how it holds up to repeated use. It is pretty thin, but I believe it needs to be to do the job correctly. I used it to pry open my iphone 7 as well as pry out the battery (it worked perfect for that, I just slid it under from the bottom end and was careful not to touch the "-" volume button cable underneath the upper left side of the battery. Overall, for $5, I was satisfied with the ease it provided to my repair.

The right tool for the job
I recently had to replace a shattered screen on a Galaxy S20 phone, and saw that the best and clearest how-to videos on YouTube all showed the technician opening the back case of the phone with one of these, as well as using it as a pry tool for such things as battery removal. I can see why: it's shaped exactly for those jobs and will make the next time that much easier. The disposable tools included with screen replacement kits are generally of little use, and none of them will do the job this tool will do.It's light, flexible, and reasonably well padded, though an additional inch in length for the tool and the pad would help for gripping the spudger. One star off for the edges, which were quite rough -- though a few seconds on a wire wheel will polish them up nicely, and could as easily have been done at the factory.

Useful tool for the job
I bought this tool to open my iPod Classic 6G. It pretty much did it's job. It can handle some force. There were some sharp burrs on the edges that I had to sand to minimize damage to the device. However this tool alone is not enough to open the iPod, you will need something sharper to get it started before this can get in.There is a lot of scratches on the tool now from the tough stainless shell of the iPod, but it kept it's shape mostly. The iPod's shell was not damaged, but I replaced it anyways because it's mirror surface was pretty worn out.

A+ quality tool
Bought this on a whim due to watching too many of Jerry's videos. I do alot of cell phone repair and I needed something stronger then the guitar picks I was using due to them fraying and bending after a few uses. after using this tool I can say it does not disappoint and works exactly as intended. If you do alot of cell phone repair or work in small electronics I highly recommend this tool.

Sharp edges
Cut my hand first time using it and I was holding onto the padded "handle" part of the tool. Edges are very sharp and the plastic stuck to both sides for a handle isn't wide enough.
