What a waste of time!
The idea for a book series like this is great, and would be very helpful. However, this book reads like a 7th grade book report from a grammatically illiterate school kid, with none of the charm. Sentence fragments, incomprehensible grammar, spelling mistakes ("Sort" for "Sword"... are you kidding me?), lack of agreement in gender and number (refering to something belonging to Ciri as "his"?... seriously???). On top of that, you can find much more detailed information easily on the web. The examples are laughably without number, and on just about every page. I bought this book because I thought the information on countries and the map promised would be helpful. All you get is less than sketchy information and a useless photo of a map someone else did. Honestly, do not bother buying this. Just download a Witcher Wiki app for your smartphone or tablet, which you can get for free, btw. I asked for a refund.

Really good
More than what I expect. In addition of the order of how to read the series it comes with much more info, like a “behind the scene”. Really nice

Wonderful encyclopedia!
It was interesting to read, provided that I have known the Witcher's universe for a very, very long time. A lot of useful knowledge, for such a price. An excellent book for people not familiar with the Witcher universe and an absolute must-have for a fan! After reading it, I again wanted to plunge into this wonderful world. I bought additionally, missing in my collection, books by Sapkowski and in great anticipation to continue reading the saga.

Witcher Guide book
I just purchased the first 5 Witcher books by Sapkowski after playing all the Witcher games since the first game came out. I saw this guide and wanted something to read until my books arrive. I really learned a lot and appreciated the ease and flow of how this guide was written. I'm glad I bought it, thanks for making me Witcher smarter.

Interesting
Enjoyed it very much. It's a change from what I usually read. I'm thinking I'll try another in the series.

Helpful little guide for all the Witcher books
Didn't really need this cause you can find the info online but I wanted something I didn't have to keep searching for. And I had the two bucks to throw away.

I found this to be very helpful!
I am a fan of the Witcher. Ignorant to its origin, I first binge watched the Netflix tv series. After which I immediately wanted to soak up everything Witcher . I was admittedly confused with the story line due to what seemed to me as unclear timeline, that affects my understanding of what is going on in each story segment, I found myself realizing that it I had a clearer indication that the episodes \story's where in no way chronological , if have not been so utterly confused, as without knowing they jumped back and forth in time and thus the main characters had or had not experienced things or knew ppl they were interacting with had me half crazy, ex. An episode showed Garld in one scene with yennifer, ( this is assume he knew her while watching a later episode, ) when it fact that later episode was actually the story about when the first met eachother... Which was glaringly obvious , and caused me to have to practically go back and rewatch every story from from the beginning, and do my best to wipe my mind of understanding to figure out which parts where in the past , so I could perceive what was happening accurately rather than what happened before I knew it jumped around, therefore I didn't sit there dumbfounded, thinking 'wait, wtf Gerald! Why are u doing that when u already knows this person that lied and deceived you so badly once before!' .. Needless to say when researching it with correct chronological context, it was very clear , cause he didn't know yet duh.Point is THANK YOU to this guide , after I've watch the show, and now have read the first book a bbq d am staring the second, (I still had moments of confusion) that this author s this helped me set straight, and now look forward to continuing my reading with a much more solid base of understanding, that I'm thinking will hopefully allow my enjoyment with reading to increase greatly without the cloudy confusion I trudged on with detracting from the greatness of the Witchers tale.

A good resource book for readers new to the Witches universe
The author provides the reader with a good introduction to the Witcher universe without spoiling the stories of the book series. He provides enough detail to prepare a reader for what he will encounter without giving away any plot. I read this after playing Witcher 3 and watching season one of Netflix' The Witches. I'm now reading The book series and really recommend it to any fan of the fantasy genre.
