If you have a BLACK car, read this review.....
I own a jet BLACK sapphire metallic vehicle and it's a complete pain to wax because it shows every tiny amount of wax residue that won't come off the surface. I've tried all manner of waxes - Zaino, Chemical Guys, Turtle Wax paste and Liquid ICE and Nu Finish. The biggest disappointment for me were the Zaino products. So much marketing BS, list price, only available from the Zaino store, complex combinations of weird hardeners and the litany of overlapping wax products that make no sense. I tried Zaino A10 alone and with their wax catalyst and they both stink because the product simply will not come off a black car by hand. I followed their directions to the letter. I HAD to use a power buffer to really get a clean finish and that's too much screwing around for me. All of the other products that were also difficult to remove, I bought the Meguiar's NXT and the Meguiar's Gold Class Carnuba Plus Premium from Amazon at the same time with an 8 pack of the Chemical Guys applicators. I waxed half the car with the NXT and the other half with the Gold. I followed the directions and waxed the car in my 60 degree garage out of the sunlight after washing and drying. Both products go on easily, spread thin and go a long way. I gave them ten minutes to dry and used a brand new terry cloth towel to remove and polish. I hate the feel of microfiber towels and they don't work as well for wax removal in my experience, especially with Zaino waxes. Both the Meguiar's products buffed off FAR easier than Zaino and came off with a hand towel. They did not require a power buffer. The NXT seemed to come off with a little less effort than the Gold. Under fluorescent light on the hood (a real problem area for Zaino), both Meguiar's products looked identical - shiny. slippery and very brilliant. I took all my other wax products and tossed them in the trash including the overpriced Zaino that I wasted $200 on over the years. The Zaino "All In One" product alone is now $27 for a single bottle. Time will tell how they hold up in sun and rain and with the hood waxed half and half with each products, I have a mini wax laboratory on wheels with each side of my hood waxed with the NXT and Gold Plus products. More to come as the elements decide which of the Meguiar's products ultimately wins. But right now, for me, on a BLACK car that sucks to wax with other products, both Meguiar's products win over every product I have previously used simply for ease of application and removal with a hand towel. Attached are two photos. The first is the hood of my black car with the Gold Plus wax on the left and the NXT on the right. After 5 minutes ot buffing with a clean cotton towel, the second photo shows the reflection of my hood of the ceiling of my garage. THAT'S a mirror finish!

5 Stars A++ HIGHLY RECOMMENDED!!! This wax is really the next level protection and shine for your car.
RECOMMENDED!!! PRO: Easy on easy to remove, lustrous shine OMG! CON: Wear gloves to protect hands from Chem Topped it off with Ultimate Quick Wax, and WOW. This is a sealant wax, meaning that it seals the clear coat from environmental debris that can become embedded and eat through the clear coat finish. (Bird Bombs) bug splatter, and if you live in the south LOVE BUGS. Use the Ultimate Quick wax is super easy and very durable spray on and wipe off, It adds a deeper shine to the 2.0, and another layer of protection. Remember that all of the Meguiar's Ultimate products are compatible and renew each other with the same protectant base. IMPORTANT: Wash the car early in the day while it is cool. Keep it in the shade, wipe it down and let is finish drying, go have breakfast. A completely dry car is important. Be patient....5 Stars for sure..but take the steps to ensure a perfect result. 1. Wash with Meguiar's G17748 Ultimate Wash and Wax - 48 oz Meguiar's G17748 Ultimate Wash and Wax - 48 oz. 2. Meguiar's Smooth Surface Clay Kit Meguiar's Smooth Surface Clay Kit 3. Meguiar's G14422 Ultimate Quik Detailer - 22 oz. Meguiar's G14422 Ultimate Quik Detailer - 22 oz. Use this to lube the Clay it cleans and pulls up all embedded dirt, old wax, and road grime that your clear coat has picked up over time. It is easy to use light touch super clean surface. Use Microfiber to wipe off the Quick Detailer. 4. Meguiar's Ultimate Polish Meguiar's Ultimate Polish - 16 oz. Use this sparingly for those problem areas like the hood, or any where swirls show up. DO NOT LET IT DRY ON THE SURFACE wax on wax off. 5. Now it is time Meguiar's G12718 NXT Generation Tech Wax 2.0. Do not try to put a heavy coat on, thinner is better, light touch. Wear gloves so you do not absorb it through the skin. Do the whole vehicle. Let it dry completely. It goes on real fast and easy, comes off easy too. Buff it with a Microfiber folding and turning it often. 6. (OPTIONAL STEP) Finish off the whole job with Meguiar's G17516 Ultimate Quik Wax Meguiar's G17516 Ultimate Quik Wax This stuff is magic, soo easy to use that I reapply it after every time I wash the car. It is that easy. I know 6 steps seems like a lot of work, and it is, but the good news is that it will stay nice for a long time, the steps above put a coat on your car that helps keep dirt from sticking, This process makes the surface sooo smooth that dried bird droppings will flake off before it becomes a problem. Now if you want to get real fancy clean and clay your windows, then wax them. I know it sounds crazy, and it is off label, clean, wipe, clay(using Quick Detailer), wipe and wax it with 2.0. If you are unsure, try it on your sun roof, or side window. It stays cleaner and keeps hard water from staining the glass. RECOMMENDED Check out the PIX, 2006 Jeep and the wife's 2004 SI. UPDATE!!! I added Meguiar's G18309 Ultimate Fast Finish as a final step WOW read the review : Meguiar's G18309 Ultimate Fast Finish, 8.5 oz. This keeps the shine longer well worth the added step. 5 Stars A++ RECOMMENDED VOTE thumbs UP IF YOU FOUND THIS HELPFUL

SIMPLY AMAZING WAX
I HAVE USED MEGUIAR'S CAR PRODUCTS FOR YEARS. THIS BY FAR IS THE BEST WAX TO DATE. I HAD NOT WAXED MY VEHICLE IN SEVERAL YEARS. I FINALLY HAD THE OPPORTUNITY TO WASH AND WAX BEFORE THE FALL SEASON ENDED. I WAS AMAZED AND STUNNED AT HOW ONE COAT OF THIS WAX BROUGHT BACK THE SHOW-ROOM SHINE AND COLOR TO MY VEHICLES. THE RAIN BEADS AND ROLL DOWN THE VEHICLES AS IF IT WAS JUST DRIVEN OUT OF THE SHOW-ROOM. THREE MONTHS STRONG AND THE SHINE IS STILL GOOD. THE WAX WAS EASY TO APPLY AND TAKE OFF. I DO RECOMMEND USING A MICROFIBER CLOTH TO REMOVE THE WAX, AS MICROFIBER DOES NOT LEAVE LINT AND SWIRLS.

It's Good Car Wax!
Let me start with a disclaimer: I *love* taking care of my car and keeping it clean. I vacuum the inside, wash the outside with a microfiber mitten, clay it (once a year), and wax it (about every two months). But! Before I had purchased this NXT Tech Wax 2.0, I had just been using those quick spray waxes (from either Meguiar's or Turtle Wax). So, this is my first experience with a non-spray wax that I would need to apply with an applicator. So why did I switch to NXT wax over spray wax? Simple: spray wax doesn't last as long. It's a "lighter" version of the regular wax you apply by hand (hence why it's much easier to apply them). So, I thought, why not switch to a longer lasting wax? After browsing through Amazon, I decided on NXT Tech Wax 2.0. From my experience, it's great! It's fairly easy to apply (it dries quickly and wipes off easily) and doesn't take too much effort. Set aside about 30-60 minutes, depending on the size of your car. Let it dry for about 3-10 minutes (contingent on humidity/temperature) before wiping off. Voila! Done! If you want, you can lightly rub your car with your fingers to "feel" the smoothness of the wax (after you've wiped it off). It's not perfect, of course. Other reviewers have mentioned that this Tech Wax 2.0 doesn't last as long as carnauba wax. I can't speak for the comparison (as I've never used carnauba wax), but Tech Wax 2.0 definitely isn't too durable. Does it last longer than spray wax? Absolutely. But it has its limits; it seems to last about 1.5 months for me. I suppose that's where its ease of application (relative to carnauba wax) comes in. Tech Wax 2.0 may come off more easily, but it's also more easily applied. That balances out, right? I don't have much to complain about. I think it's a great wax that doesn't take too much of my time on a Sunday morning to apply. If longevity is the absolute dealbreaker for you, look elsewhere for another (preferably non-synthetic) wax. Otherwise, this works fabulously. Oh, and for optimal results, clay your car before applying any wax. It cleans your paint's surface, allowing waxes to more cleanly bond with the paint itself. You don't have to clay *every time* you wax, but just do so about 1-2 times a year. It keeps your clear coat clean and protected anyway.

I Love This Stuff
I admit it, I'm a fanatic when it comes to taking care of my car's appearance. I've tried just about every wax and "wax" at every price point you can imagine. At the end of the day there are two products that I think are just amazing in terms of both their performance and their value which I would recommend without reservation. Both are by Meguiar's and both are synthetic. The first is this product...Meguiar's NXT Generation Tech Wax 2.0... and the other is Meguiar's Ultimate Paste Wax. Now I know some of you will insist that there's nothing that can compare to a carnuaba wax finish and I won't argue that it has its merits. It's just a matter of personal preference. Carauba wax isn't bad. Not at all. I simply prefer the advantages of synthetics over those offered by natural wax. One thing I've touched on below in the pros and cons section is that this product goes on much thinner than traditional waxes. A tip to getting a better, mirror-like finish is to clay the car first and then hit it with any of the many scratch remediation products out there. Think of this like an additional coat of wax which, if you're like me, I put on 2 or 3 coats anyway. I think you'll be very pleased with the result if you take this extra step. PROS Amazing, glossy, “wet”-like finish Enhances the depth and richness of the paint color Unbelievably smooth finish Easy application and removal, much easier than natural wax Buffing requires far less effort than natural wax Excellent water beading/shedding CONS The coating is much thinner than natural wax Doesn’t work the way most traditional cleaner waxes does so you need to clay the car before applying it This likely negates the effort saved through ease of application/buffing Less durable so you have to reapply it more often, though building up a couple of coats adds durability in my experience Doesn’t fill in minor scratches the way natural wax does, which almost acts like a combination scratch remover and wax in one

Great shine, easy to apply.
I am by no means an expert on car wax, but over the past few months have tried numerous car waxes. Again, I am no expert, but can say this wax does the job. I have tried Torque (great shine but does not seem to last) and Top Coat (Good shine and does seem to last longer) but this McGuires NXT is the best. Despite being a liquid that you have to apply then buff off, it is very easy. The resulting shine is absolutely fantastic on my 2017 Tacoma. As for how long it lasts, I will give it a few weeks and post a follow up review. But for the money, I recommend this wax as it is easy to apply, easy to buff off and the shine it top notch. UPDATE: The above review from waxing my Toyota Tacoma. Today, I washed our Camry XSE and tried the McGuires NXT was on it. WOW!!!! Granted the Camry is black but this wax leaves it looking "wet", with a deep, dark shine. I am VERY impressed and I have tried a LOT of different car wax products. The jury is still out on how long this wax retains the ability to bead water and protect but so far, I am SOLD. I added photos of the Camry after using this wax so you can see the results. Lastly, it is easy to apply and take off. Overall, another excellent product from McGuires.

I LOVE this product
I detail cars on the side and take care of several on a regular basis, not to mention five of my own. This is by far the best wax/polish I've ever used. Easy on, easier off, and the shine and protection lasts for six months if parked outside and a full year for those parked in a garage. This liquid seems to nourish the paint. It's the only brand I've found to keep the original paint on my 1972 Mercedes shining. I've tried others and they look good for about two weeks and begin to haze over again. This product has given it a shine that will last for a full year. I LOVE THIS WAX. I'm afraid Meguiar's may be phasing this one out for their new ultimate brand. I tried that one, too, but prefer the NXT. I have two bottles in reserve.

Best Meguiar Wax in the market
Prior to using Meguiar's NXT Generation Tech Wax, I used Meguiar's G-7016 Gold Class Clear Coat Wax Liquid which was a fine product in it's day. The NXT Gen. Tech Wax seems to be a huge step up when it comes to final presentation and shine. I used this product for the first time this past weekend. NXT leaves a nice smooth and shiny finish that no other product that I've used has produced (including Mother's products, Turtle Wax and even some special Harley Davidson Motocycle wax). I applied this wax to my WR Blue (Royal Blue) Subaru WRX which is already bright and shiny to begin with. It's been 5 days and my car is still shinny (slightly dusty) and still smooth. I actually had a funny issue the other day. When I got out of my car and pushed my door closed, my hand slipped off the edge of the door because it was so smooth slick from the NXT Wax. Ha. That in it'self boosted my confidence about the product. I'm looking into purchasing the NXT Generation Speed Detailer to keep it clean in between washes and waxes. I currently have the Gold Detailer which I'll also try on my car to compare. Also, I applied this wax with my hands and not with a rotary machine and still got impressive results. I can't imagine what a rotary machine would do with this product. It's also much cheaper to purchase this product on Amazon than it is at a local parts store or Target. Well worth the price. I highly recommend this product. Just give it a try, you won't regret it. (Read instructions/directions before applying)

Best wax on the market!
I’ve used many waxes over the years and this one tops them all! Easy on, easy off. Polishes your paint to a deep gloss shine. Lasts a very long time as well. Even smells nice! Another bonus, when applied in direct sunlight (which technically is taboo) you are still able to buff it off fairly easily.

Excellent WaxI was
This is the best wax I ever found. I have been using this kind for my car for the past 20 years. When I cannot get it locally I get it delivered to me. Makes a great base and the dirt and grime just wipe off with a cloth.
