I had an old Epiphone special with some problematic himbuckers so I put in these pickups and it was a noticeable improvement. I really like the sound of that guitar now. Installation wasn't too crazy just a couple of solders. It's not too difficult to look up wiring diagrams for what you need but I just replaced one at a time so I could find where everything connected. Inexpensive and a great way to change your sound

Went with the Chrome 90v set based on the review who said they sounded like his phat cats. Overall, they sound really good. BUT they dont match the specs for Chrome 90V set. Bridge is 6.7K. Neck is 6.2K. My big issue is the spacing on both is 50mm. I know it doesn't affect tone. but it bothers me. It's almost like a neck pickup from another set was used for the bridge in this set, but the back was stamped with a B, so... I sent a message to the seller, key-tech. They responded within 24 hrs and said (basically) the pickups are what they are and apologized for the description not matching the specs. They also said if I wasn't happy, they would work something out. Bottom line is, they sound really good. But for me, I couldn't get the bridge and the neck to really line up sonically, like they didn't belong together. The neck was really like a bright humbucker. The bridge was almost like a strat bridge with more mids and output but without the icepicky highs.... and NO flub. After playing it awhile, i realized I liked the tone of the bridge more, and it sat in the mix better... So I decided to take the neck pup out and replace it with a strat neck pup (around 6.4K), with a global tone pot and .033 cap. And... with the tone rolled to about 8... perfection. It sounds phenomenal. I can do all the hendrix-y stuff I like... and get all the jangle and snarl i want from the bridge, and the middle position is really nice for funky stuff and clean chording. They sound very good. Id say they are in between a normal single coil and an actual p90. By the way, there's 2 different wires and a hot wire. you just have to wire the loose hot wire to any of them and solder it to your pot. I do feel that the bridge pickup is thin though

The media could not be loaded.  I really like the look and sound of these pickups. They are a perfect mix of single coil brightness and sustain and punch a humbucker provides. I would pay more for these pickups, personally. Very happy with my purchase.

Swapped out some muddy sounding humbuckers on a budget priced IYV guitar with these P90's.Perfect fit and awesome sound! Defiantly worth the money and effort to install.

Good sounds but that 60 cycle is real. Good look and fit

I built a double P90 Telecaster and put these in it and I couldn't be happier. Would a name-brand set sound better? Maybe, but I can't see how. These sound great. They have that growly, punchy tone that P90's are known for and they look great. I'm not sure how long the "gold" coating will last. Only time will tell.If you're on the fence about these though, I'd say go for it. They're half the price of something like the Iron Gear Platinum 90s WHICH I LOVE! and only 13% of the price of a set of Gibson P90s. For $35 you seriously can't go wrong. If you don't like the way they sound, return them. Amazon is great about that.

I put a set these in an old SG I had. I'm an SG guy so I already have an SG with Seymour Duncan Phat Cats but I actually like the neck on the older SG but love how the Cats sound. Not wanting to spend a fortune on another set of the Duncan;s I thought I'd give these a try. What I didn't expect for the money was how close in sound these are to the Phat Cats and at this price I would buy these all day long before shelling out big bucks for the Duncan Phat Cats. A killer set of P-90's that don't break the bank. That's for me!

Fast delivery, packaged great no damage .I have a wall full of great guitars single coils , humbuckers hot to PAFneeded new tone something in between , found this set on amazon kept reading reviews all good , ordered arrived installed and bam!!!!Wow for the money you cant go wrong both just over 6k ohms yeh!!! P90 tone tells the story with a bit of breakup and cranked . Also these didnt squeal when tested on high gain ( depends on the player preference . bottom line great seller great pups 10 star if i could cheers . ACBguitarZ

I gave these a try and see if I was gonna like p90 style pickups. I was surprised that they sounded great. Seem to be made of quality material. I normally like single coil pickups in my strats, but wanted to try something different and glad I did.

The media could not be loaded.  They sound pretty close to the gibson p94 only a little brighter. Can't be beat for ths price!

J'avais une belle grosse guitare De Armond sur laquelle j'ai essayé plusieurs micros (pickup) HH, mais je n'ai jamais vraiment aimé le son. Grâce à ceux-ci (LAMSAM P90), ma guitare est devenue vraiment agréable à jouer. Je suis plus que satisfait. Vraiment surprenant pour le prix !
