OEM mount from Rexing
This is the Rexing-branded mount, and works perfectly with a Rexing V1 dashcam. 5 stars.Removing the old mount was a chore, however. In case it helps others, this is what I did:(1) Mark the position of the old mount so I can put the new one in the same spot. I used masking tape on the outside of the windshield.(2) Heat the area to loosen the glue. I would have used a hair dryer, but don't have an outlet near the car. Instead, I used a heating pad which can be warmed in the microwave. I taped it to the outside of the windshield at the position of the mount.(3) Pry off the old mount with a plastic scraper tool. As expected, this left behind a lot of glue residue and black foam.(4) Apply (peanut) cooking oil to the residue. I tried to scrape off the residue with the plastic scraper tool, the corner of an old credit card, and my fingernails. After 1+ hours, I finally got off most of the black foam, but the underlying layer of glue residue barely budged. (Note: Don't use metal scrapers such as razor blades, as these can scratch the glass.)(5) I tried Goo Gone and left it there for 10 minutes. This didn't help at all, and worse, it stunk up my car. It's not a great choice for enclosed areas.(6) I applied more cooking oil and let it sit on the glue residue overnight.(7) The next day, I reapplied the heating pad and more oil, and tried to scrape off the glue residue. Still nothing.(8) I then applied rubbing alcohol, and... magic! The glue residue came off easily with only a paper towel and a little scraping with a fingernail. The rubbing alcohol appeared to be the key. Not sure if applying the cooking oil overnight helped or not.Once the old mount was removed and the windshield cleaned up, installing the new mount was trivial. I applied the new 3M tape with the black side toward the mount, and the red side toward the windshield, as shown in the Amazon pictures.

It sticks to the windshield as it should!
We had our windshield replaced so we needed a new mount for our Rexing dash cam. This is the OEM mount that came with the unit, I didn't want an aftermarket brand. It has the 3M tape, which I swear by. It works great and stays in place. Highly recommend!!

Does the job
Not sure if these are Rexing or repops, but it gets the job done, and does look like the original part. 3M tape so it should be good as long as your surface is clean before install. Holds camera just fine and has allowed me to put my Rexing V1 in idk even know what number car this is, but it's in there now. lol.

Expensive for what it is.
You can't make it yourself so you have to pay. Be aware that for the camera to be attached, there is only one way to place the mount on the window. Does not look like it should make a difference but it does. Try it on the camera first to be sure it slips on and locks, then attach the mount to the window in the proper orientation.

Very sticky stuff.
Once you put it on your windshield, it ain't going nowhere. So make sure you put it somewhere where you want it to stay permanently. If you need to take it off, you will need to use a flathead screwdriver or equivalent. It will leave some goo behind but that is easily removed with a razor blade and glass cleaner.
