Gibson Elite Winter Cottage 16 Piece Dinnerware Set, Red

I purchased this set to fluff out my red transferware collection for Holiday decorating, and was pleasantly surprised to find that the set was even prettier in person. I was also happy to see that this set is durable, so, since there are only 2 of us, 1/2 the set gets daily use, and 1/2 is on display. I use my Mom's china for entertaining, and this is nice enough to blend with Mom's fine china. It's not underglazed, but it is dishwasher and microwave safe. Very glad I made this purchase.

I love this Christmas dinnerware! It has a nostalgic feel with holiday warmth. I’m hoping to pass this set down through my family generations. It looks sturdy and it’s dishwasher and microwave safe, which is a plus! Definitely worth the value. Planning on buying more to have enough place settings for our family.

I really like this set of dishes! They are prettier then the pictures can describe. I like that it’s a winter scene rather than just Christmas dishes. I got tired of the Christmas dishes I was using for every day, and decided it was time to look for something else. I ordered a different set at first, but as soon as I was inspecting the dishes I realized there were many imperfections. Thanks to Amazon’s great return policy, I did send those back and looked for something else. I’ve had other Gibson sets and have enjoyed them through the years so I was comfortable ordering this dinnerware.I will be able to use these dishes all winter for many years to come!

This was going to be my winter dinnerware. I am so happy with it. It is sturdy and made really well, strong enough for everyday use. I wanted the "cottage" look for everyday use and that is why I picked these dishes. I am a little bit of a dinnerware collector and I was using all white dinnerware for my everyday use to go with my kitchen that is somewhat primitive/cottage style. I just got tired of the white dishes. It was a real leap for me to order an everyday pattern dinnerware. No regret. Just stunning. Highly recommend.

We bought these to use all winter and I love the design - especially that of the bowls! The dishes are sturdy and we love the value for the cost of the set. I bring that up because we had bought another set of dishes in the past couple months that started chipping right away. This set is a wonderful addition to any kitchen

These are perfect for our family. 8 place settings, stack nicely, sturdy and set a lovely table. I use them Nov. thru April, since we live in a mountain climate with snow on the ground throughout the winter. They set a beautiful table with a solid tablecloth and napkins. I also purchased 8 place settings for my son's family, they loved ours so much!

We couldn't be more pleased with this set of dishes. They are substantial and the images are crisp and cheerful. My family loved them the moment I brought them from the shipping box. They will be a nice touch to our table and brighten meals through the holiday. Absolutely worth every cent we spent and I will be purchasing another set or two to expand it for future use.

Good item. Inexpensive. Wanted a Christmas set of dishes. I may never use them for fear of breaking one, but I'm still glad I purchased them to at least use for dinner table set purposes.
