Monster Whisperer: My Beautiful Monsters, Book 1

Loved the story and couldn't put it down. River is a supposedly human vet that can hear animals. Turns out she can also hear monsters. She is kidnapped in order to help some shady business happening in the underworld.There is a lot of tension but no real s£xy scenes or spice at all.The story is light and fun, the world building was just right and I love the selection of monsters that will be part of her reverse harem, even get 1 female monster there. So, I'm guessing when the steam starts rolling sensual get group, mf, ff, mfm, etc.

This was a really unique story. Demeter has gone mad and trapped the underworld. Hades is trying to reclaim his land alongside his monster entourage who are enslaved to fight in fighting rings for Demeter’s fun. Along comes River who is half human, half something else who can talk to monsters and animals.Some of the writing is a little stilted and doesn’t flow as much as I’d like but I really enjoyed the concept and the characters. I’m excited to read more now we know who River’s father is and the monsters have human like bodies again.

I truely enjoyed this book, well written and just flowed. Its a different story line compared to everything that's out there at the moment. If your bit of a historical geek/greek mythology, this is your type of book.Starts with a vet thats able to hear animals and is able to treat them with what is needed, after been kidnapped and taken away by Hades.... well the underworld is in need to of help. If you know your Greek history then it helps but not a huge need. Does explain in the book.Cant wait for the next one to come out

I honestly adore this series so much, I love the characters and the cheekiness of their interactions. I often find myself smiling and laughing along as I read! This is the third time I've read these and I love them just as much as I did the first time!

Thoroughly engrossing and entertaining,  well written and thought out. Looking forward to the rest of the series and discovering more by the author

I loved the idea of animals and monsters talking to an intermediary. 2.20a.m. But I had to finish the book

This booked moved at warp speed, and not always in a good way, the characters didn’T have much depth to them which made it hard to really route for them one way or the other. I loved the premis of this book and was intrigued enough to keep reading, though not enough that I’ll bother with the next one.

Amazingly written, world building fantastic and the sexy scenes are hot. I love this series and urge anyone to read this story. The characters are amusing as well as gorgeous. I still think of this series every now and again and reread it. Still fascinates me.
