Kaleidoscope

Deamlike story of love and grief.
This is not only a simple book but a masterpiece written by Brian Selznick and narrated wonderfully by Gwendoline Christie. I have the copywrite and the audiobook. A Must-have for everyone.

Beautiful stories
I bought this book for my granddaughter but read it to be sure she would like it--its a collection of exquisite stories, dreamlike, mysterious, full of puzzles and wonder--written during the lockdown but not about a pandemic--rather an exploration of our place in the universe.

Nice story, by a step way back on illustrations
I just got this today, opened the box, and read it quickly. I couldn't wait. The story is nice. It didn't "take me there" as much as Hugo or Wonderstruck, but enjoyable. But the illustrations are sparse and rather weak - mostly of kaleidoscope views. No characters. If you're hoping for something like Hugo or Wonderstruck, I wouldn't bother. And it's printed in China so the physical quality is marginal. But you might be satisfied and you'll be supporting Brian Selznick's work if you give it a try.

Imagination a beautiful thing!
I love a beautiful story. This one was filled with it. Love, sadness, and curiosity fill the pages. When I saw the illustrations I remembered how much I loved playing with a kaleidoscope. Read it and let your mind be transported😊
