If your looking for a seat pad that is thinner than a cushion for a light level of covering then this is suited. The material is realy comfortable and comforting. It looks more expensive than it is.If you want something with padding that you can feel significantly then this wouldn't be suitable. I use it as a topper over a memory foam cushion. It looks lovely.

They arrived in a vacuum packed wrapper and are very soft once fluffed up. The cords at the back would allow to be tied to a wooden chair with a lattice back, but we wanted to protect our velvet chairs from our cats as these are far easier to wash than trying to clean the chair.We tucked the ties and corners into the back cushion of our chairs, and they don't move about or anything and whilst probably not as intended they work well for what we wanted to use them for.These are not all that padded so i think they will keep good shape when washed as well.I searched a really long time to find some seat pads/covers that would work for us, and i have to say these are pretty good value.

Its more like a piece of material than a pad. That's basically what it is so I sent it back.
