This is a great fan! It is the fourth one that I have purchased for my home. I now have one in my bedroom, both my children’s rooms, and our guest room.It is quite powerful - comes with several settings and really moves air well. I appreciate how easy it is to turn on and off, and move from room to room, if needed.The durability is fantastic! My family and I sleep with fans on, overnight, every night of the year. The first Vornado I purchased was over ten years ago and it still works like a charm! The price is definitely up there, but it is most certainly worth it based on how it is built.The only downside is that they are a bit on the louder side. As I use it for white noise to sleep, I love that, but others may not.Overall, would highly recommend Vornado products!

Outstanding fan for a medium-sized room. Air movement in small rooms is always a problem, especially with larger fans. The air goes straight ahead, and even oscillating, you have to wait for it to reach you. But here comes Vornado. If you want air moving, this fan moves it—no oscillating needed. I like the fan's power, but it doesn't knock things off tables or walls. The air circulates without moving anything. On high, you feel the air swirling throughout the room. There are four speed settings; I haven't used setting four, as high handles the job well. Perfect for moving cool air when the AC is running; it definitely saves on the electricity bill. A big A++ for a small fan with power. It's easy to clean, and the angle adjustment only goes up and down. I wasn't sure why, but after using the fan, you feel air everywhere without having to turn it toward you. As for noise, it's a fan; they make noise. P.S. This fan has buttons, so smart plugs won't work with it. Smart plugs only work with knob on/off switches or fans that have separate speed switches.

I live in FL, and the ac in my 700 sq ft apartment won’t be repaired for a couple of weeks. I have a portable unit in the entry room but due to poor insulation, it only cools the immediate area; The back rooms were still humid, and inside temps reached 78 throughout the day. I decided to order the Vornado 660 and it has made an incredible difference in keeping the back rooms cooler. The inside temp hasn’t exceeded 74 since I’ve begun using it to circulate the air. I was hesitant to spend so much money on a fan, but this little product will easily become a daily essential.
