The Lost Colony of Roanoke

I gave this four stars because the story is not long enough and there are many questions left unanswered. The book is well illustrated and there is a considerable amount of information to be had. After reading the book I gave it to my 13 year old granddaughter to read. She loves mysteries and this is definitely a mystery yet to be solved.

Just finished reading this with my 6 and 7 year olds. They seemed to really enjoy it, though I think this book might have been a little over their heads in some regards. We had fun reading together, never the less. They were able to grasp that the people were on a wild new land, trying to establish a colony, and met struggle after struggle.

So far we have loved all of the fritz books! They are a great resource for homeschooling kids of various ages. They are full of all kinds of historical facts, presented in an interesting ways, which makes them easier to learn and remember.
