I actually like the bit of weightiness of this product. I like how it sags down to (or next to) the piece I'm working on instead of floating around and getting in my way. I put it through its paces, though, and the hose tore open between several of the ribs. Although it might be out of the warranty period (one person at Rockler said the warranty was a year, the other said 90 days), when they talked to one of their tech folks, the word came back to just send me a new one. Hopefully they've reengineered the issue so I don't go through this again in another five months.I also got the hose and cord kit II. High-quality product that gets the hoses and cords up and out of the way.Rockler: Good products and good people who stand behind them.

It works good with my 5 gallon Wet Vac and all my DEWALT tools. I have sized down over the years to doing just busy projects. I know only have a 10" miter saw and a compact circular saw plus a router used both on and off a router table. With the various connections I'm able to use it with my tools and the suction is great. I like the extra hose for the length and it's very good quality. All the items are made with high quality flexible rubber. I highly recommend this.

Quality is good and it fits almost all of my tools.Although the hose stretches to the advertised length, once the shop vac is turned on, the hose instantly attempts to return to a much smaller size. (quite ferociously too)On the bright side, it certainly sucks. :-)

I bought this in the hopes it would fit my notoriously hard-to-fit Triton MOF001 router dust collection port; the smaller connector fits like a glove, and pushes VERY securely into it. Prior to getting this, I struggled, loosening screws, taping, etc., trying to get some of my myriad adaptors to fit correctly, and it was all a hassle. This is exactly what you need, in fact, I'm going to write Triton and have them recommend this for their router. It's kind of a big deal!

Even though this device wasn't readily adaptable to my sanders or my shop vac for that matter, it was a welcome addition to my tool collection. In order to get it to work, I used screw clamps (otherwise known as radiator hose clamps). Yes, the hose is heavy, as many have stated, but this is not an insurmountable obstacle. My primary reason for buying this was to sand a hardwood floor in my house that would have been very difficult to haul a rental floor sander into. Some have indicated that because the hose has a tendency to retract and thus pull tools off a bench, this actually worked in my favor, as it tended to pull out of my way. The components do seem to be durable as others have indicated, and seem to be a good value for the price. It really works great in removing the dust, judging by how many times I had to dump out the shop vac. Highly recommend.

I bought this so that I could use one attachment for my shop vac. The product comes with 2 different hose attachments. The larger one fits perfectly on my Craftsman orbital sander ( not pictured). The smaller size didn't initially fit on my Kreg Jig dust attachment, orany of my Ryobi tools. I ended up using a flat head screwdriver to pry the lip of the hose onto the dust port of my tools ( see picture). Once it was on, I let it sit for a few hours to hopefully allow the material to loosen up. As you can see from the pictures, the hose is installed, but there is not a lot of engagement. This works fine for the stationary Kreg jig, but for something moving around like the planer, it doesn't stay connected very long. I think overall this is a great idea, but I wish there was another size in between the 2 attachments that come with this device.

It worked perfectly with my shop vac the hoses are very flexible and heavy duty, it has some kind of rubber coating on it and included several adapters that are screw on no push on.This worked with my Bosch router table and rockler reciprocating table saw.

Finally there is a hose/connector that will hook up to my Ryobi sanders without using tape. Love the hose, takes a minute to get used to it but it works for me.

As an avid DYI cabinet maker I am constantly working with wood and it can be very difficult to attach a dust collector to the various hand held power tools (routers and orbital/pad/belt sanders mostly). This is because all these tools come with small odd shaped dust ports and shop vacs come with standard sized hose with a non-flexible end that rarely fits. This product solves that problem (ie - no more duct-taping the hose to the sander). The interchangeable flexible silicone ports stretch over almost any small dust port and stay put greatly enhancing dust extraction which is a real health benefit (breathing saw dust is very unhealthy). And the incredible, almost magical hose that the set comes with is amazing. Soft, supple, supper flexible and very stretchy. The only minor drawback is that the hose is heavy, but that's a side effect of its very high quality. This product is worth every penny, I would buy it again and I highly recommend it to anyone who works with wood.

Hose is heavier than most hoses, but it seems to be because of the quality. Expanding hose is great. I just put a hook above my bench and it expands when needed, and out of the way when not needed.

Finding couplings to attach hand-held tools to shop vacs has been a frustration for years. Witness all the weird and wonderful diy contraptions on You Tube. These two flexible attachments work perfectly with my Festool 500, Dewalt biscuit joiner, Milwaukee orbital sander and even my Bosch miter saw.The hose is flexible and the couplings swivel. But it is HEAVY. I used a bungee to hang it from the ceiling over my bench to unweight it a bit

This setup has about perfect for my needs. Aside from the belt sander, shop saw and orbital sander, the biggest difference is using this setup for my track saw. The 10 ft track (used for breaking down 4x8 sheets) requires a pretty long track saw stroke, and my previous setup (using a standard Ridgid vacuum hose with adapter) often fell off the saw in use. The Rockler solution grips a lot better with the silicon cuffs, has the extendable hose, and more importantly has free swivels at both ends of the hose. This avoids the hose exerting twisting pressure as you extend your cuts which would otherwise pop the hose off the saw. This setup is worth every penny!

This is a fantastic hose kit. With all the different attachments, I have not experienced any troubles attaching my assortment of small tools.
