I do not know the shelf life because I used all three of the sealant for two jobs.

Q: I have gaps up to 1 inch wide and 1.5 inch deep between driveway concrete plates. Would the use of this product be appropriate for such gaps?

No problem on the 1” to 1.5” gap. You should but some backer rod in the gap to reduced the depth. Available at the big box stores. This close cell foam. 1/4, 3/8, 1/2, 5/8 & 3/4 inch sizes. Check out this videos on YouTube; Next level carpentry- how to caulk concrete control joints. His method is spot on!
