Perfect fit, great sound
Needed shallow mount to work in a truck. Not the best subwoofer ever made, nor is it the most expensive, but sounds like a good mid level 10" Subwoofer. Which is great for a shallow mount with limited space. Started with a smaller box and a single sub, which sounded extremely good. Had a little more room, so added a 2nd sub and it sounds great!

Perfect fit with adapter
Great upgrade for my Jeep JL. Much better that the OEM upgraded version. Used the DS18 adapter.

Awsome sound, but not as reliable as should
Awsome sound, but not as reliable as should be. Great sound quality, but I've burned up 3 speakers in 2 1/2 years. My Rockford Fosgate slammed for 10 years, the aluminum connecting come and magnet cracked, so I jb welded it. They still work. I mentioned the Fosgates because that's proof that you CAN MAKE a great long lasting speaker. These will be my last set of kickers. It gunna be back to fogates in a year or 2, cause that's how long they last, but sound great

Quality Control Zero Avoid.
Junk right outta the box. Contacted Kicker Customer Service spoke with the specialist and he told me absolutely there shouldn’t be any strange noises coming out of the subwoofer from the plastic cap, etc and that the speaker was defective. I took a video of how crappy the subwoofer sounded. I think you can judge for yourself that it’s defective. Returned the kicker speaker to Amazon the next day and i still don’t have refund after a month. The refund keeps getting delayed. Replaced with a Skar Audio 10 inch shallow mount sub and works perfect.

These are very good subs, with the right box and amp these can sound like 12's with the right tune. Very impressed with how great they sound

Fried, sounded good before failure
Unreliable, I received back in mid February. Product has failed April 12th. I went through the break in process and wired as recommended. I've had 2 of the previous generation of this sub so I was relatively comfortable buying this product. I'm a big fan of Kicker. Other than the unreliability it sounds great and hits good. I'll try to get an exchange if eligible.
