What are the opened dimensions of this poncho?

Dimension: length: 84" (210cm) long, width: 56" (140cm) when spread out

The description says ripstop nylon but many reviews say it's pvc or some other type of plastic. What is this poncho (the real tree camo one) made of?

As far as I can tell it is cheap PVC. It looks, feels, and most importantly smells like PVC. IT is not 'ripstop' in the usually understood meaning of the word. In good NYLON fabric, ripstop is due to the weave of the fibers. This stuff has an additional layer of non-woven plastic attached to it by adhesive bond. It may stop a rip but it is not the ture 'ripstop' as in nylon. It has a neck hole that is too small for me to get my average size head thru. In my opinion it is junk and wasted money.

How loud is the material? How slow would you have to move to keep a deer ( 20 yds away) from hearing you?

I'm sorry, but I haven't even taken it out of the packaging yet. It is a Christmas present. I'm hoping also that it won't be noisy as it is for hunter. If it is noisy he will just to wear around camp.
