Really does the job! Super happy with the results!
This Clear Coat is Amazing! I watched a few videos and a number of them recommended this clear coat and now that I've used it, I recommend it too. I have a 2014 Honda CRV with 203K miles and the pain was look pretty bad especially on the hood. I did some light sanding, cleaned the surfaces and then applied the coating. It is so easy to use - hold it about 2-3 inches from the surface and move quickly and smoothly it gives a nice clear seal. I am extremely happy with the results. And you can put on a more than one layer. Great value too, if you have the time to do it yourself. And, many videos said I had to remove all that white spaul around the worn areas. In some cases I could not sand it out and this product covered it 95% or better. Dries very quickly. Nice and shiny. and seems as durable as the original coating. If you've got an older vehicle and don't want to pay a ton to get the paint in shape so it does rust or further deteriorate, give this a try. Pro tip - get a tack cloth and once you're done with sanding and cleaning the are you plan to coat, give it a good going over with a tack cloth. My first time to use one, but what a difference in "cleaning" the surface.

After 3 weeks it failed. Looks terrible and now will take even more work.
40 years of painting vehicles. Thought I'd try this. DO NOT PURCHASE TO RESPRAY YOUR SUN FADED PAINT. At 1st, it was beautiful. Then after a month in the sun, it is coming off. It turned into some sort of crumbly, very brittle white crap. It now has created a lot more work. I even sprayed it over good clear coated parts. It did the same thing. Base coat or sprayed over a prepped clear coat, it failed in the sun.

Great for outdoor small projects exposed to weather.
Shake well for sure. For better depth, sand with 800 after the second coat. Do not build up over three coats without sanding, works well with water resistance and slight scratches. Super fine spray. For the money this is a less expensive top coat that is close to a two part K1 automotive clear coat. I would not advise using it on big projects. Super quick drying time.

Awesome clear works great.
Quality product wish it was cheaper. Would buy so much more of it if it was cheaper. If it was 18 bucks or something like that I would have no problem buying a ton of it. I refinishing wheels and paint cars and this is most definitely the best clear u can get in a can and love not having to be all used immediately because of the 2 part system but again just so expensive. Will definitely use again just on the more needed things when I'm not using my spray gun for clear if I am in need of easy to use no mixing will definitely be using this. So easy to use . The finish is awesome for a spray can. Again only problem I have is how expensive it is . Maybe use larger cans so there's more in there for the 30 bucks or make it so we can buy larger packs with a discounted price. Cause I would love to buy a good amount and I would be a consistent buyer at a discounted price . But the 30 bucks for 1 can is so much!

Lots of heavy orange peel, but truly sandable in 24 hours
I'm on the fence with this clear. It did not run with a heavy final coat, but the orange peel was just a little too much for me. It smells really funky too. Anyways, 24 hours later I was able to wet sand away all of the orange peel with 1000, 1500, and 2000 grit to finally get it to a nice-ish finish. It actually sanded really well. It isn't anything like Spraymax 2k clear but you won't have the huge runs like Spraymax either. Plus, did I add that it smells really funky? it does. If you won't use a whole can its great since its not one-time use. If you are using several cans, and don't feel like sanding, maybe go with Eastwood 2k clear to get a better finish.

Don't do it Don't do it Don't do it Don't do it PLEASE DO NOT DO IT!!!!!!!
For those of you who have tried auto painting you know how difficult it can be to get a good results, between all the prep involved, potential chemical reactions, paint/clear coat incompatibilities, spraying issues etc. I spent probably a year trying to get my motorcycle bodywork perfect. I must have re-prepped and re-sprayed it at least 6-7 times. Finally, I got everything PERFECT, and then this worse than worthless clear coat ruined it all by getting milky/cloudy with time. It's been about 6 months and you can see how terrible it looks, cloudy overall with distinct white streaks. And it looks much worse in person than the photos. I used different cans of the product for different parts at different times, so it's likely not a matter of a bad batch, or there must have been multiple bad batches (I bought the cans at different times), or the product is just fundamentally flawed. I have used it successfully in the past, but I would never, ever, ever take another chance on this with anything important. I used spraymax 2k for the tail cowl at the same time and with the same prep and it's held up perfectly. I have had good results with that brand but I was seduced by the easy re-usability of CarRep. Do not do it. Please do not do it. I have wasted so much time and sanity to have this terrible product ruin my project.

Game Changing Product
This was the best clear coating I have ever used, and the fact that it can be used more than once is a game changer.
