PlayStation 3 500 GB Super Slim System (Renewed)

I was looking to play some games that remain locked to the PS3, and this was the right choice. System showed up quickly and I was amazed at how clean it was, inside and out. A few scuffs and scratches, but it’s 13 years old so that’s expected. Mine came with a genuine DS3, so that was an unexpected surprise. System runs great, everything works perfectly so no complaints. Happy with the choice to buy it from here.

Works to play games, shuts off during play. Was in another country so wouldn't change regions or play dvds. I factory reset it but it still wouldn't work. Would not recommend this again.

I was really skeptical at first seeing some bad reviews had some concerns like whether it was gonna be a Japanese model or a North American one also the listing having the regular slim model number but it exceeded my expectations it runs great actually has the 500GB came super clean with the authentic dualshock 3, can't wait to get some games and go crazy from nostalgia

Console arrived clean, with all necessary cables, and even a proper sony dualshock 3 controller. It was carefully packaged and well preserved. The only problem i have found is the front corner of the device has very light damage in which the sony logo is missing the top half of the S and the area surrounding the logo has a major scuff. Console appears to work fine so far.

The PS3 came in quickly. It’s missing two rubber feet on the bottom but that’s no big issue to me. Besides that there’s nothing wrong with my PS3. It was a bit dusty but hey it’s old technology. I just took some isopropyl alcohol and a microfiber cloth and wiped it down good as new. I’m very happy with my PS3. The controller that came with my system was a generic one but it was brand new. I am happy with my purchase. 5 stars!

took a couple days and now i have tried to play a couple games , i know the ps3 has been around but i like playing this console i have a lot of games for this system , but the system will shut off the signal seems like about 10 minutes in i get a black screen and a no signal or not supported on tv are they any way to return this for another unit , the ad said refurbished , it was clean but has this issue ,i hooked it up 2/20/25 started one game , and put in another one today 2/21/25 , renewed was the word

I was a bit worried about buying a used console because I usually buy them new, so I made sure to order one that was listed in Excellent condition and from a seller with good reviews. It got to me faster than the expected delivery time, and when I opened it up it was such a relief! It looks like new, and so does the controller. I got it hooked up right away and have been playing it for almost 2 weeks, and it works perfectly. If I didn’t know it was renewed I would never have guessed. So happy to have this system so I can play all my favorite classic games! Very happy with the experience, great seller!

I bought this about 6 months ago and when I got it I opened the disc cover and it was filled with dust and dog hair. Vents were full of dust and it smelled like cigerrette smoke when I turned it on. I sprayed everything out as best I could with air and hoped for the best. I also noticed the tamper tag was still in place on the bottom which means, obviously it was never opened and cleaned. I waited this long to write a review to see how long it would last and write everything in this re iew at once. I'm now at the point that It freezes about 10 times an hour. I thought it was just because it was dirty and over heating so I opened it up and cleaned everything completely and added new compound to the heat sink (it was CAKED with dust on the inside). It didn't help. I'm fairly certain now it's because the hard drive is going. I bought a new one and I'm replacing it. I should've just bought one at a flea market and rebuilt it. It would've been cheaper and just as good.
