Bubbelicious
I had high hopes for these Ortega Flamenco Scratch Plates to complete my brand-new Admira F4EF flamenco guitar, which unfortunately didn’t come with a scratch plate. However, my experience was nothing short of frustrating. First, the packaging in every shipment (I ordered three sets) arrived bent, which was already a bad sign. After doing plenty of research, I thought I was prepared to apply the plates properly and avoid any bubbles. Sadly, no matter what I tried—removing and reapplying, spraying water, rubbing out bubbles with a towel and credit card—bubbles persisted. I even ordered two more sets to give it another shot, but the results were the same: bubble city. In addition to the bubbling issue, the scratch plates themselves felt much thinner than expected and had a strange gummy texture, which made application even more difficult. After a few days, I began noticing indentations on the top of my guitar, likely from either taping on the plates or attempting to smooth out the bubbles. This was heartbreaking, as my new guitar was now damaged. To try and fix the issue, I removed the Ortega scratch plates and opted for a Dopro 25x20cm Black Acoustic Guitar Self Adhesive Scratch Plate Sheet, using the Ortega plates as a template. While it worked to cover up the dents, I ended up with black plates when I originally wanted a transparent one. You can definitely tell it’s a DIY job rather than professionally applied. My advice: steer clear of these Ortega Flamenco Scratch Plates. If your guitar doesn’t come with one, either make sure to get a Cordoba scratch plate from Chicago Music Exchange, or find a local professional to apply one for you.

Good tap plate
This template for flamenco guitar is very convenient and useful. You literally just put it on and you're pretty much good to go. The only thing for me is that it has a different thickness and feel to a typical tap plate which is harder plastic and solid but besides that it really helps out if you don't want to damage your guitar.

Not fo me
The product is good. Just not quite what I expected. The stick on might be better either way I think I will look for a true Flamenco guitar and not try to make one out of a good old Classical

Realmente por el valor se espera que sea un poco mas resistente y grueso pero no lo es ! es delgado y poco resistente, no lo recomiendo por ese precio !

Bubbles
Applied to a shiny lacquered black guitar. There are bubbles. First I removed strings to get easy access to the surface. I have a lot of experience applying similar films as screen protectors for phone screens so I cleaned the surface and used a credit card to squeeze bubbles out. However some bubbles remained and after a few days some went away, but even after a few weeks some bubbles remained. This is unfortunate because they are very visible on the black guitar.
