This book is beautiful in so many ways. It makes a lovely gift for gardeners or anyone interested in the depths of nature, observation, and life.

I love a good gardener's perspective on their own home and garden and this book is a lovely conversation on his own plot of earth. Chapters are short and cover lots of items, such as tools and the particular degrees he goes to to get rid of rodents or create more flowers. Next to Diane Benson's 'Dirt', this is a fun and easy read - and an inspiring one for a gardener like myself.
