3.5 Stars!!
3.5 StarsSadie Scott has a mission, extract Thomas Brooks and… save him? Kill him? She can’t seem to remember…Because after Sadie infiltrates the local insane asylum and finds Thomas, she is hit with an alpha-mind blast that wipes her memory. Now, she is at the mercy of one of Cathedral City’s most notorious… and Sadie can’t decide if she wants to leave… or let Thomas in…~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~Anarchy Chained was the engrossing conclusion to the anti-superhero, Anarchy series. Thomas and his friends have big plans for Cathedral City… and Sadie Scott is about to upend every last one of them…I confess that I have let way too many years go by before I was able to finish this fascinating series. But, this book did it’s best to pull me right back into the dark world of Cathedral City and it’s gorgeous alpha, anti-heroes. Sadie and Thomas have a sexy connection which continuously hints at just how powerful they could be if they work together. But Sadie has a shadowed past threatening to close in, and Thomas has a very big secret he is hiding behind his take charge personality…I thoroughly enjoyed the Anarchy series, and this final book did a great job of wrapping up the Super Alpha’s plans while dealing with the return of the enemies that they have been waiting to exact revenge on for many, many years…I voluntarily purchased my copy of this book and have provided my honest and unbiased review.

Chaos and Anarchy of the Super Alpha variety - I couldn't get enough!
I'm kind of at a loss for words after finishing Anarchy Chained. It's like, what did I just finish reading? Why am I surprised that I'm speechless? Where does Julie pull these stories from? Does she dream this stuff? Do images pop into her head while she's driving down the road? I couldn't even begin to come up with the stuff that flows across the pages of her books. To say that there was a lot going on in this book would be an understatement. I knew Thomas would have a complex story, but I never figured on it having the levels of complexity that it does. Not only was there a ton of events happening throughout, but there were a whole bunch of new characters that we were introduced to. And to make things even more interesting, you don't quite know if these new characters are good guys or bad guys. But then again, I guess you could still be debating whether Thomas, Lincoln and Case are good guys or bad guys, too.Sadie was a unique and interesting girl. She had some kick butt abilities that I would love to have. I just wouldn't want to get them the way she got them. The more we hear about Prodigy school, the more messed up the stories get. And to find out what they've been doing to children all through the years is some 10th level horror story stuff, I tell you. This is one of those books that keeps you guessing all the way through. And it keeps you on the edge of your seat all the way through, too. And then the last 20%? Holy friggin moly!! Questions from the previous books are answered, characters that I didn't pay close enough attention to before rear their ugly heads, and once again Sheila proves that she's the most kick butt non-human there is! And Thomas! Thomas....Thomas...Thomas...like I said before, what a complex character he is!!I have honestly loved all three of the Alpha's stories. As interconnected as they are, each book has a dedicated storyline to the couple and I loved getting to know them and see their relationships evolve all while the chaos of each story was unfolding. This story was no different, except it really WAS different for Thomas and Sadie. How, you ask? I'm not gonna tell you, you need to discover that for yourself! One thing I want to point out - the covers for this series are probably some of my most favorite covers ever! The graphic designs are out of this world, and the pictures drawn inside in random spots are amazing! I'm not a comic book collector, but I am a JA Huss book collector, and these just look so awesome on my bookshelf!

Sometimes bad boys make Good Men
Anarchy Chained is Thomas' story and the final installment of the Super Alphas saga. Leave it to JA Huss to leave the twistiest and most shocking for last. It's everything I love about Found and Missing set on "Blast". Kinky superheroes with imaginable powers. Strong women with powers all their own. Soulmates. Danger. Intrigue. And a caper that will leave you guessing until the last pages. The climax will leave you shaking and spent - and your hard all squishy and content. Thomas Brooks is the Super Alphas' mastermind. In a team of genius alphas - he's their ringleader and alphahole. But is he an evil genius? They jury's still out on that. Not even Linc and Case are quite sure, but it's all good as far as they're concerned.Until Thomas disappears.Anarchy Chained opens with Thomas' spectacular escape from the new and improved Cathedral City Asylum. You see he had a mental break when his meds, and superpowers got knocked off kilter, thanks to the run in with the Blue Boar. He started collecting the memories of dead people. All the dead people. And they wouldn't shut up. The strange thing is his escape is masterminded by Sadie - but thanks to the memory loss that she suffers when Thomas lets his superpower off the chain there's no way to know whether she's friend or foe. Is she helping Linc and Case? Is she Prodigy? Or something even more nefarious?Thomas is a level 10 mentalist. He can unleash the power of his mind, and the brain blast can kill people. But Sadie survives because she is an illusionist - she can manipulate the perceptions of others making them she her as she's wishes them to. Talk about a master of disguise. Designed by the prodigy School to complement the powers of a mentalist, their minds fit together and strengthen each other. It's a truly symbiotic relationship. Does anyone else see the true beauty in this? The ultimate super couple's powers consist of screwing with your head and perceptions of reality masterfully. Sounds like an author I know and love. Anarchy Chained is another JA Huss E-ticket ride. But this time it's way worse than a rollercoaster. It's the most malevolent fun house ever. Not even the mentalist and illusionist can quite sort out what's going on. Nothing is as it seems and there's danger at every turn. Friendship betray and friendship affirmed. And surprises - huge, kinky surprises. Leave it to Julie to create a totally mind blowing twist on menage. Last button emphatically pushed. The whole idea of mixing superhero fantasy and angsty, erotic romance makes me giddy. And squirmy and hot under the collar (and other places). Couple that with Ms. Huss' talent for crafting insanely complex capers with teams full of sexy, honorable conflicted heroes, and you have one of the most brilliant, fresh, unique and entertaining reads in romance today. And like all the best superhero canons - the story isn't quite over. I can't wait to find out what Atticus has been up to.

Who doesn't love anarchy?!
The final book in the Anarchy series and WOW!! What a way to end the series! Thomas and Sadies story is perfection. Once I started reading, I couldn't stop. Julie paints a perfect picture and I could see everything that she was telling through her words. I have a picture in my mind now if what Cathedral City is like and want it drawn in a comic book style book. From the first two books, we knew Thomas would have a good story and Julie did not disappoint. Sadie is a cool girl too and an amazing introduction to the series. Both Thomas and Sadie kinda rounded each other out. You are kept guessing through the whole story about every single move and who is and isn't the 'bad guy'.You are pulled in from the start and even more so if you have been waiting for this story. It does not disappoint. The only disappointment is that it's all over! I don't know how Julie comes up with these stories but what I do know is that I don't want it to stop and I want it drawn in a comic book style book! There really is anarch in Julie's mind!

Wow! Wow! Wow!
Wow! What an amazing ride this series has been! I could not put this down! Right from the start you are pulled into Cathedral City, and then all hell is let loose. This series has been action packed.JA Huss write complex characters and plots full of twists and suspense and intrigue. Thomas is the last of the 3 Alphas to get a book. And he certainly delivers! I have loved this series big time! Absolutely amazing! These guys and girls are supervillains - the best kind.

What an explosive ending to this wonderful trilogy. Thomas always was the greatest brain challenge ...
What an explosive ending to this wonderful trilogy. Thomas always was the greatest brain challenge and less understood. This is his fractured story. Mind blowing and tortured. Sadie an illusionist and some. Can't help felling sorry for Sullivan who is part of Thomas, and also the way Sadie became a slave to other people's desires and dreams, thanks to her abilities. Comic strip with a punch. Such imagination and descriptive writing, allows the reader to become one almost of the Alpha's. Good rules over Evil, but Evil is beyond wicked. Pure Anarchy, is finished for now, so many questions, Yasmine, Isiah, Molly, Lulu, and of course Shelia? Who knows. Great story great novels, great author.

Totally Freaking Awesome!
Julie has done it again! Another brilliantly twisted plot which keeps you guessing. Thomas is a well written character, who you can totally picture being mean and moody (and hot!!!). Sadie's story unfolds slowly but is still well paced (if that makes sense). Linc & Case don't appear too much in this one, which I thought I'd miss but really didn't, due to the amount of other plot twists.Sullivan is a new character and I hope he (and the rest of the "team") make more appearances in future books.
