Reading this book was difficult! Mainly because i was using it as a night-stand reader and therefore only reading a few paragraphs to a few pages every night (depending on how tired i was). But this book was difficult to put down!! But there was a benefit to reading it just a little at a time. I had the opportunity to take each little chunk and dwell on it. Seldom have i read a book that resulted in such profound changes in how i think or act about something. Thoroughly loved the book and it is definitely in my read-again category of books!!

Thank you, Allen Hunt, for writing this book!I think anyone, Christ follower, or not, could benefit from reading and applying the lessons and concepts contained in this book.The Author is a bit wordy. I wonder if the Catholic references were removed that this book might appeal to a larger population of Christ followers.I have definitely been challenged by his thorough and fresh perspectives on what the fruit of the Spirit "is" and "is not". I found his suggestions for steps to take insightful, valuable, and very doable.This book has been challenging in such a fresh way to areas of complacency in my life but offering much hope and practical ways to become "the-best-version-of-myself"!☺️

Dr. Hunt does a great job taking nine simple words and showing the beauty in them. He shows us a unique way to follow God's plan in this hectic world we live in. If you are looking for peace in your heart, this book is a great place to start.

This book caused me to reflect on my relationship with God, reflect on my priorities and showed me a way forward to becoming the best version of myself.

The book summarizes the nine key spiritual gifts that are part of becoming the best person that we can possibly be as defined in holy scripture. These gifts of God's Spirit are described in Paul's letter to the Galations.

This is beautifully written and easy to read. It includes practical tips to help you succeed in your efforts to "become the best version of yourself."

This is a simple, straight forward, thought provoking read that leaves you uplifted & knowing exactly how to live to become the magnificent person God created & knows you to be!
