I have had no issues with damaged tubes or tubes that are not filled..Normally you should have 1/2 to 1 inch of unfilled space in the cap end of the tube.

Q: Will it hurt to use in regular automotive applications, A arms, tie rods, Pitman arms, etc.?

It’s perfect for those applications high temp and high quality lube.
