I am not a big fan of hats in the summer time because my scalp sweats and gets overheated massively but this was perfect! I wore this on a trip to Punta Cana in the DR in JUNE! Crazy me hot but this was a cute fashionable visor style straw hat. The center was open so my scalp felt the breeze as I wanted it too. The visor blocked the sun from my face as I needed it too. I love the velcro adjustable strap for sizing. I was able to tighten it enough to not blow off in the wind and loosen it enough to cause a headache or migraine. Great quality and very flexible. I was able to fold it up tightly to not take up suitcase space but to also not damage or cause permanent creases.

Loved it! Packable, great coverage and honestly, I thought it was very cute. Recommend it.

From my wife: I am not a big fan of hats in the summer heat, but this was perfect! I wore this on a trip to Vero Beach. It was 90+ weather all week. This hat kept the sun off my face and out of my eyes without making me feel like I was going to die of heatstroke. My teenage son kept trying to steal it from me to block the sun from his eyes in the pool! The center was open so I didn’t feel like all of the heat was getting trapped in my body. I wore it sunbathing and in the pool and ocean, so it did get wet but dried within 12 hours. Side note, I got knocked down pretty hard by the waves which knocked the hat off my head, but fortunately the hat sank and went under my feet and I didn’t lose it! The velcro adjustable strap is perfect for sizing, tight enough to keep from blowing off in the wind and loose enough not to cause a headache. It rolled up tightly taking up little suitcase room without damaging or causing permanent creases in the hat.

Had been rocking my well-loved and much abused collapsible, all-weather, UV hat for years but felt like I wanted something a little fancier for a destination vacation. You know, something that looked like it drank tea with a raised pinkie and didn't scream "LANDSCAPING IS MY LIFE!!!"After endlessly comparing several models of the same style and similar price-point, I settled on this one in all black.Arrived just in time for my trip and was immediately impressed. The material was thicker than I'd expected and the brim is wired and sturdy. It rolls up and secures nicely in my bag in between trips to the beach and the shops, withstood strong winds, constant sun and sand, and even an accidental dip in the sea.What's more, the hat is easy on/off with a variety of hairstyles but stays pretty secure in a strong breeze, the bow at the back is perfect, and I got a ton of compliments and felt a little bit like a golden-age starlet whilst protecting my face and shoulders from too much sun.

Saw this style hat while on vaca in Cancun but brims were not very wide. Searched on Amazon and found this company with wider brim! Love it. Plus the bow in back is super cute. Shields wonderfully from sun and my thick hair bun can stick out on top.

I LOVE it! I wear it in the pool, when I’m doing yard work, at the beach…I have really thick hair, so being able to put my hair out of the hat on the top was essential. I’ve gotten other hats that just had a small opening, but my hair was too much for it.I like the material, it’s comfy, easily adjustable, and completely foldable. And of course the sun protection is great—covers part of my shoulders even!

I found the exact same hat for half the price. They’re very cute and functional, but I don’t think they’re worth what’s being changed on Amazon.

Bought this for my wife for mother's day and she loved it. Fit great and she likes that she can leave her hair up with it.

I love how compact this hat is for travelling! It rolls up nicely and can easily fit in a handbag or suitcase. It has an adjustable velcro patch, and an elastic to make sure it doesn’t blow away.
