Take your time, follow the pictured instructions
Second time I've bought one of these for my track bike which only had one mount for cages. I had this on my previous track bike for several thousand miles and more than 2 years and it held snugly. When removed there was no damage to my frame. Lots of people reviewing are claiming that it's not durable or they had trouble installing or what have you. From those bad reviews and the associated pictures it's clear they didn't follow the directions properly. First off, you'll need to install the straps to the frame and tighten only enough to loosely mount the cage to test for clearances. Do not, I repeat do not attempt to fully ratchet the straps with the red slotted screw until you are decided on a position. Likewise do not mount the bottle cage you intend to use to the elite bottle cage clips until after you have fully ratcheted the red screw to the desired frame tightness. When a bottle cage is mounted to the straps, it will block access to the flat head red screw slot and you will not have enough leverage to ratchet the screw that advances the strap to tighten the clips. Also check the tracks on the straps and make sure they are all raised with no flattened ribs, this will make decreasing circumference of the strap easy and thus tighten it around the frame properly. On my first elite mount the tracks near the tail end of the strap were smashed and nearly flat against the strap, I had to cut this roughly 2 inch section off otherwise the screw would not have a track to move along. Luckily this was the part of the strap that enters the mount screw and was likely going to be excess once tightened to fit the frame anyway so no loss. As long as the tracks in the straps are in tact and you follow instructions you'll have a no-drill, discreet and strong bottle mount from the brand used in the pro peleton!

Added function where there was none
I needed to add a bottle cage to a bike that was only outfitted with fittings for a single cage. After searching for a viable option, I found this system. At first glance, it seemed straight forward enough to put on, but my bike configuration wouldn't allow placement on the seat tube because the cage already in place on the down tube was positioned too low. So, thanks to the flexibility of this universal cage mount I had two options: place it on the underside of the down tube (leaving my bottle subject to picking up lots of road dirt) or mount it on the underside of the top tube, which is what I ended up doing.Having the bottle cage mounted on the top tube did interfere with transportation on a bike rack, but because there was some room for movement of the cage, I was able to rotate the cage to the top, giving me the ability to use the bike rack. (Not an issue if you're using a wheel-based rack.) The movement of the cage was also a detriment while riding, thus the 4 stars. I found that the bottle cage rotated some and I had to periodically make adjustments so it didn't interfere with my pedaling. The other options out there to add extra cages to a bike vary; as I was bike touring, I didn't have room to add a cage behind the seat and the others that mounted to the seat tube looked too big and, in my case, would not have worked anyway. This did turn out to be the best option in my situation.Mounting was fairly straightforward, but not seamless. That being said, it didn't take a rocket scientist to attach it. If you find yourself needing to add a second or third bottle cage to your ride, this would be my recommendation.

Save your resale and use these instead of Rivnuts
I wanted to put a bottle cage on the top tube of my BMX cruiser bikes to hold coffee on my commutes and water for longer off road trails. I was just about to start drilling holes and putting rivnuts into the frame of my brand new aluminum Redline Flight when I decided to try some non-invasive alternatives. These straps worked great! I was able to secure them very tight and the do not rotate even though the top tube is kind of Oval/D-shaped, not round. The only modifications I made were to add a little piece of rubber cut to a bullet shape to match the footprint of the mounting point. I also cut the base into 2 separate pieces so that I could attach them in opposite directions with the straps as far apart as possible. This helped hide the red ratchet screws under the bottle cage I have.

Brittle plastic
These seem to me that they would work great IF there were some published torque specification. They went on my 1 3/8" tube just fine, but went from snug to snap with zero warning. If you get these, stop tightening as the absolute minimal torque which will hold it to the frame.

So far, so good
So far, so good.I can actually put my 2nd bottle cage on now, which is great. No more crazy thoughts of drilling a hole into my tube. Only small complaint is that instruction would've been easier if it had more than picture illustrations. I was confused when I got to putting the zip tie in. You have to use flat head screwdriver (turn the screw clockwise) to have the zip tie go in rather than pull into the slot. Much stronger looking than normal zip tie so I'm hoping to see good uses out of it.Here's some pictures if you're curious.

Good Design.
Straps fit nice between frame & cables.PS Just snug it up with a screwdriver, 5 inch-pounds only, don’t overtighten.

Not very durable
This is a low profile and easy way to mount a bottle cage where you don't have bosses. One of the straps broke early on. I replaced it with a zip tie and its still holding strong.

Great for Sur Ron Light Bees
I purchased these to install a bottle cage on my Sur Ron Light Bee's frame. Nothing held as solid before I tried these. Excellent hold and just be sure to not gorilla tighten the straps or they may snap. I really like that you can also uninstall them too. An excellent alternative.
