Doesn’t go entire length
I should have measured - doesn’t go the entire length of the bed (twin). I’ve never ordered this type of thing before so maybe that’s normal?

Super soft
Love these for my toddler! She’s three and is a wiggle worm they keep her from rolling right out but are squishy enough for when she’s wake to get out of bed.My only complaint is they slip around

Works very well!
Great quality! We use ours to keep our two dogs in the center of the bed at night to keep them out of our sleeping space! Works great !

Nice
I really liked this item. I loved that the casing is removeable and can be washed in the event of night accidents, spills, or sickness. The casing is also moisture resistant so I don't have to worry about having to wash the foam part. The overall length was perfect. I have a wild sleeper and it didn't run short. The only negative I found so far is that they don't grip to satin sheets. My daughter has naturally curly hair so I get her the satin sheets and pillow cases. Unfortunately, they slip right off so we had to switch back to the rails. I tried these on regular sheets just to verify it was the satin, and they did hold pretty well.

Streamlined Replacement for Typical Rails
Got this to try for my 2.5 month old. She has a typical bed rail but her headboard creates a gap on the other side of the bed from the wall. This was easy to throw under the covers and prevent her from rolling that way and getting stuck. It seems to work well but we haven't tried replacing the traditional rail yet. They seem durable, it doesn't move or slide under the covers at all and since its soft, she doesn't even seem to notice it amidst her other stuffed animals in the bed. Would definitely recommend.
