Hawaiian Tropic - Mineral Protection Sunscreen SPF 30 UVA + UVB Protection, 100 ml, Zinc Oxide Filters, Water Resistant, Vegan

I bought this as I was looking a more chemical free alternative sun cream. It doesn't penetrate the skin therefore sits on top, so for that reason I find it hard to blend. It's less oily than your average sun cream. Happy overall with this.

Like most non toxic SPF it is a bit thicker/chalkier texture but still pleasant to apply. Smells decent. Took a star off cos it did make my skin feel a bit dry. You do have to reapply every 2-3 hours and after being in water. Better than covering my skin with the toxic c@ncer causing chemicals that's in regular sunscreen though and I put lots of Aloe Vera on after which helped. If you want to build up your natural sun screen, sit for 15 mins in the morning sunshine with no sunglasses (don't stare directly at the sun) Your body will make more melanin naturally and you will be less likely to burn. But obviously be sensible and only 10-15 mins in the AM 😎 sun is not bad for you in small doses...

Due to an sun allergy/allergy to chemical SPF, I've used a lot of different sunscreens over the years. This one has been my favourite so far.It absorbs well and didn't appear to leave the white cast that others do. It also smells nice, which is a pleasant change for this type of sunscreen.I'm not sure of the water resistance as I always reapplied after swimming

Has NANO a VERY controversial ingredient.(No pics of ingredients right so not till bought !!)Itll be hard to find the info on this subject, like need to go as usual to likes of BRAVE search engine.Find the bits in things like BBC reportage about the fact they are getting around this by doing things like not studying it.This is a ticking, you know what, for health. (In case that word triggers an algorithm).And after the last five years, it behoved us to do a lot of research on what we put in and on us.Felt really sly to me it just happened to have NO photos of ingredients and the AI don’t have the answer, nor listed ingredients.I used to use the Aloe Pura brand, but they add it now as do most except v expensive stuff 50 a small bottle.Rule of thumb seems to be if it has zinc “and no white cast” it’s nano.Their other brand is ok, no nano but far from perfect.Can someone pls make something non toxic pls and affordable, hallo Hawain Tropic ??I’m returning this straight away.

This product smells lovely but I wouldn’t use again due to how it is once you have been in the pool. It seems to become very thick and white and you need to actually rub with a towel etc to remove. Very quickly gave up and bought a replacement whilst away, which was a shame because I’d bought it as sold as sea friendly.

If you want a non-chemical body sunscreen this is the one to get. I’m not a huge fan of the smell but other than that it sinks into the skin perfectly. Very reasonable price too and I find it lasts at least a few hours so it’s great to use during the day.

I really like that this sun protection cream doesn't have any really nasty chemicals in it. Additionally, it blends in well and does the job of protecting your skin.

Good mineral sunscreen. If you have massive hairy arms like me it may be a little tricky to rub in. I actually dipped one finger in sea water to give a tiny dilution and that helped. Perhaps this affected the effectiveness of the sunscreen, but I did not burn.
