Highly recommend
I've had this bike for almost 3 years and absolutely love it. I take it through town on paved roads as well as on unpaved trails. It came very well packaged and was super east to put together. I love this bike because it takes me places I wouldn't normally go on a regular basis because of hills, but power assist kicks in at just the right time, making the ride as easy or as challenging as I want. I would highly recommend this bike, as it is well made, reasonably priced, and customer service is top notch!

Nice Bike, be Prepared
I ordered this bike in Feb. The stated delivery was 5 to7 days, but mine came in 2 days. I had major surgery so this was going to be my help to get back in shape. To begin, the whole package was very easy to unpack and set up for final assembly. Final assembly took less than 30mins. Very simple, but I also have a Lemond Zurich I made into a cross bike, and a Felt composite road bike, and I wrench on them myself. But really, assembly was simple. The front wheel was way out of true, so had to use a friend's truing stand to get it round and straight. Rear is also a little out but I didn't do that one.I liked the bike from the start. The seat is bad, way to big and wide. I replaced it. Riding it the first time takes a little learning, but the power is very good.I put on SPD peddles so it is easier to spin. So after tinkering with the setup I got it on the road.I have now been riding the G9 and have about 130mi on it. It is a nice ride, and really helping me.Now, there has been one big issue. At about 35mi the motor started to make a scraping sound about every half revolution. After several texts back and forth, service decided something had come loose internally. So Paselec said we will send a new wheel/motor assembly. They also told me to take it to a bike shop and they would pay me back. But I live in the mountains over sn hour to a bike shop. So Paselec service responds quickly to solve problems..The new assembly arrived and I will install next week. But again to wheel needs truing.Overall, very nice bike for a very reasonable price. So the battery runs very low at about 30-35 mi but every ride here is at least 2000ft of climbing. So in gentler terrain I think 50mi is reasonable.Great bike for the buck if you are patient and can do a few fixes yourself.

Decent full suspension e-bike for the price
Decent e-bike with lots of features. Full suspension and hydraulic brakes. Good for recreation but not for hard core down hill mountain ski slopes.I had to adjust the rear gear derailer slightly because the chain made a constant noise while riding.I had a small issue with a broken bell that was included in the packaging with the manuals, tools and a tail light. Customer service denied the claim at first but after I pursued the claim, now promises to send a replacement. (I'll update if received)It's a decent entry level full suspension E mountain bike.Good purchase if you have reasonable expectations.Update - customer service could not obtain a bell but sent me a $15 refund for me to buy one. They also sent me a rear view mirror for free. Updated to 5 stars.Great bike for the price - you'd have to spend twice the price to get a comparable bike.

Pretty good for a first time electric bike.
I was a bit worried about getting an electric bike, I had tried electric bikes and scooters many years ago and they were usually very underpowered. This one though has no problem with picking up speed. Even on very steep hills it may slow down but it can keep going. A few small complaints I have are with the instructions, the display, and some of the parts quality when it arrived. First, the instructions consistent of a long line of text or a quick 60 second or so video online. You also need to know the model of the bike to find the right video, as I couldn't find the link on the store page. The instructions skip over the proper way to install the handlebars, as they were detached when it arrived. This is important as it's very easy to put it on wrong and possibly damage the electrical and brake wires around it. Also the instructions didn't mention anything about the front wheel brake and troubleshooting it. I'm not used to the brake being at the wheel hub instead of on the rim of the wheel. It was a bit too tight and I had to loosen the brake pad so the wheel could spin freely. Unfortunately, and this is my complaint for the parts quality, someone at the factory had stripped the hex head screw when installing the brake caliper. Fortunately I could loosen the other side and it worked, but if I ever need to repair the brakes I'll probably have to replace the entire caliper on the front now. Finally the display is a little... inconsistent when going up any kind of slope. The battery gauge will quickly go down when the motor is consistently used going up a hill. This can be a bit shocking at first, and then confusing when it jumps back up to full when going down hill. So I can't rely on the gauge to really give me an accurate battery rating, I just have to guess at how full or empty it is while riding.Other than those issues the bike rides well and pretty smooth. Seat isn't too bad, brakes are a little weak to slow you down but you could probably fix that, just don't come up to a stop too fast on it. The Assisted pedaling is also a little confusing. Essentially from what I could figure out the five levels indicate a minimum speed the bike will try to maintain, whether you are pedaling or not. This was a little bit of a surprise when I was trying to stop on PAS 1 but the bike suddenly started accelerating on its own. Higher numbers on the Assist level seem to mean the bike maintains a higher speed, with level 3 seeming to be about 15-17 mph.I got this to replace needing a car for transportation, and it definitely works.
