Zoo MedAquaSun Aquarium Timer

I needed a timer for my succulents and orchids that would fit into a small space on my wall to plug in my grounded light box unit. This worked perfectly! It's slim so I was able to plug it into a socket that runs flush with the wall. This timer is grounded so you'll need 3 prong outlet to plug it in. It also accepts a grounded plug to be plugged in. Also the quality of this product is amazing and it has worked since I plugged it in! Easy set up. I can only assume this would be great for anything really...aquariums, christmas lights, timing lights when you're not home etc. Don't even hesitate...this product is awesome!EDIT*****This is now making a very loud ticking sound -which it was NOT doing for about a month or more - so I have had to unplug it because it's ticking away and it's TOO loud for my livingroom. Such a bummer because it's really awesome little thing that fits the space I have it in so well. Anyone else have this happen? I wonder if ZooMed will send me a new one.EDIT*****ZOOMED sent me a replacement! Thanks ZooMed! Great company to buy from.

Directions was a bit tricky at first.Just plug in and pull up the black pieces that are wrapped around the timer for the time you want it to be on or off. I had to play with the timer a bit to get it just right but it is very nice and does work on aquariums. I read some peoples complaints that it wasn’t changing over to their black lights. These are for a one switch light. Not a multi switch colored light.

Bought this for an LED light for my new tank as I tend to fall asleep at night and leave my lights on into the wee hours of the night.Initially, I followed all the instructions to setting up the timer, and it wouldn't turn on at the time I set. I tried it several times and became very frustrated. The indicator light would be on, but the light still wouldn't turn on. I watched videos on Youtube on instructions when I stumbled upon a how-to video made by ZooMed itself. Don't waste your money...The timer I received does not work. Very poor instructions, however a very simply timer. It just is cheap and not a quality timer. Due to the low cost,m it is not worth my time and effort to return or question the vendor. My advice, buy a better quality timer.

I have had other mechanical timers like this before of various brands and sizes, and I very nearly decided on a digital model this time around due to the subtly small but ever so annoying buzzing noise that comes with these things. Ended up with this due to the low price and was pleasantly surprised that the thing is either completely silent or I've lost some hearing (dearly hoping for the former, not the latter!). The only sound it make is a slightly audible *click* when it switches to and from on/off.My only gripe is that I'd prefer the outlet to be on the side rather than the front face. This design make the thing stick out WAY too many inches from the wall, and I had to move my aquarium (no easy feat) to accommodate this thing behind it. One of those micro extension cables for DC adaptors would fix that issue, though.

Fantastic! Reliable, easy to use, I love the switch on the side that lets me turn on the light while still on the timer, even when the timer is set for the light to be off at that time. I bought one of these to prep my planted tank for me leaving on vacation. It worked so well that I got three more for the rest of my planted tanks, and everything was perfect when I came back. I also got a digital timer for comparison and it definitely wasn't as easy to use as the Zoo Med timer. The next planted aquariums I set up, I'm definitely geting this timer.

I wasn't sure if I should buy such an inexpensive Aquarium Timer but I've had it for a few months now and it is working like a charm.It's very simple to use and understand. You just push down on the tabs that you want the light to come on. There's also a switch for either "On" (as in on all of the time w/o a timer) or when you leave for vacation, you switch the tab over to "Timer."I'm glad I didn't pay $50 for another timer that does the exact same thing but is simply more expensive.

I love this coloring book so much! The pictures are so nice. The only complaint would be that markers can go through to the next page so it's best to put another piece of paper in between.

Great merchandise, easy to set up, been using this product for a while and it did not disappoint me.

Instructions are confusing. Which way is am and pm?

Great piece of equipment, easy to set up, and its doing the job, looks and feels well built. How long it'll last, time will tell us.Highly Recommended.
