This is a GREAT product.I bought this for use with a Gopro Hero 5 and I'm glad I did. Taking the Gopro snorkeling with this selfie stick worked flawlessly in ocean water. The Hero 5 floats even with the entire selfie stick assembled (floaty stick plus extending stick). After a good rinsing off with fresh water the sticks continue to operate as smoothly as they did after being unpackaged.The stand seems cheap at first but is constructed out of metal and looks like it will take a good beating. The rest of the product is well made.

the tripod end allows for odd surfaces and works great. I have not used it in water yet but the materials are much better than an old one I had that corroded in salt water.

Husband loves this

The battery on these drains pretty quickly, so having to constantly take it out of the case for charging is a pain.
