BEST IN THE INDUSTRY HANDS DOWN!!!
I purchased this product 13 months ago. BEST LIGHT EVER ! But the light stopped working suddenly. With simply a hand full of emails and pics sent to prove its condition, I was only charged $20 (shipping fee) for a replacement power supply! In less than 1 week I had my replacement running perfectly again! OUTSTANDING CUSTOMER SERVICE!!!!

Excellent grow light, misleading advertising.
I posted a very long review that didn't get approved, so I'm going to make it short and sweet. This light draws 800w +/- 5% but the driver consumes 70w. So, 730w of LED power is what you're actually putting out. That being said, I have never had happier plants. I went from having an extremely hot tent with a 1,200w HPS to having a 5x5x6.5 tent that never cracks 85°, even with the exhaust fan turned to the minimum. The LED puts out less actual ePPF than my HPS but it's much wider spectrum and MUCH more evenly spread out. My entire tent at 12" doesn't get below 823ePPFD at the minimum. The average at 18" is 1,064ePPFD according to my quantum sensor, and 1,321 ePPFD average at 12". However I like to keep it at 18" so that the light spread it more even, and I don't want to burn my plants as I am not using supplemental CO2. Anyways, the driver thing was explained to me in an email from Mars. I got this grow light on sale for $560, so there's no way I could ever get a better deal on a light like this. My only gripe is that I bought it RIGHT before they put out the FC-E1000w which I would have rather purchased. Oh well, this one is still good for my purposes! If I decide to supplement CO2, I'll lower the light. My power use immediately dropped very significantly just from having this light for 2 weeks out of the power billing period. I'm glad, because power rates in my area are about to go from $0.1205/kWh to $0.24175/kWh at the start of January. I can always lower the light and dim it to cut energy consumption if necessary. I give the light a 5/5 in all categories, but like all companies; MarsHydro overstates the performance of their product. At 12" I only get a total of 1,933 ePPF and they advertise 2,100 PPF Which it seems is never the case in any reviews. As long as you're cool with that, this light grows plants like no fixture I have ever used. The 8 100w blurples from Marshydro that I was using 2016-2019 couldn't get anywhere near this performance or efficiency. Also, the efficiency is much lower than claimed by Marshydro. I get 2.416 EPPF/J. 1933/800=2.416. If we go by the output wattage, I get 2.65ePPF/J, which is less than the efficiency of 2.8 PPD/J that they advertise. All in all, I don't regret my purchase, I will save around $2,000 in the next year on my power bill because of it, and my flowers have never grown so densely and happily. Great job Marshydro, just be more realistic in your ads. Update 1/15/2023: This light has saved me $100 on my power bill compared to a 1200W HPS. My usage statement on November 13 was 1145kWh consumed, December was 13th statement was 1209kWh, This month's statement shows 687kWh consumed. The light will pay for itself in 4 more months. Then we're just saving money.

Outstanding Light-Fantastic Value!!
WOW! This is my first Mars Hydro LED light. I've been an HID light guy for years. I did a ton of research before purchasing this light. Mars Hydro had the most even canopy coverage of all the lights I researched. Very reasonable price ($150- less than others) Extremely Bright...Very simple and easy to follow assembly instructions. It took less than 20 minutes to assemble and hang. Amazing light... Fantastic Coverage in a 5x5... 1) Adjustable light bars...You can dial in your exact needs for full coverage. 2) Removable driver...You can locate driver outside tent for heat control. 3) Dimmable driver...No need to keep adjusting height. 4) Adjustable light hangers...You can adjust hangers for a perfect fit in your tent. 5) This is replacing a 600 watt DE HPS....Temps are almost 15F cooler. 6) Full 5 year warranty. As a bonus I received a $30- rebate AND a Mars Hydro hat---FREE Overall this is absolutely the best light I've ever owned. Kudos to Mars Hydro! Customer for Life

FIRE HAZARD - DO NOT PURCHASE THIS LIGHT
Purchased this light in 3/2023. This new FC-E6500 was to replace my lower-wattage Vivosun lights. The FC-E6500 was very bright and had what seemed a promising future. But alas within a few months, the light died; actually it turned out to be the power supply, and the company replaced the power supply. I had several weeks of downtime without a light, and then the new power supply showed up....though this time it had different connectors. I tested the new power supply with the light, and it worked once again. So, with that said, I reinstalled the light in my growing area, and again within a few months, the light stopped working. This time the connector had a burnt prong inside, and even smelled burnt. Note, the light setup had it's own dedicated power, not commingled with other electronics. At this time I requested a full refund and was denied. Instead, they insisted on sending me a new connector, to which I responded with a hard NO, and they said they would send another FC-E6500 but it wasn't new but they denied that it was refurbished. I reverted back to my previous setup with Vivosun lights, though less wattage than the FC-E6500 but much more reliable, and without a product that has potential fire hazard being an issue. At this time I have requested a full refund as this is unacceptable. Update: As of 11/1/2023, the company issued a full refund. I refer to it as "company" as it's not clear if this is actually MARS HYDRO or a licensed retailer, who sells shotty products?? Caution advised.

These lights are horrible!
So far it is going great! Was able to get wifi hooked easily and set up my app! Just make sure you are using your 2g wifi connection not the 5g when you hook to it and make sure you do the same with your phone so they can share a connection and do not forget to turn your phones Bluetooth on like I did at first lol my only problem was I thought I was missing pieces to the light but I found I received the upgraded light which does not use the wing nuts or wire hoop thingy. But I had gotten an older manual so I thought I was missing stuff, so just be aware and when you go to use the dimmer switch on the light, make sure to press the button by the daisy chain channels and plug in daisy chain chord to 1st channel. It wouldn't let me dim it otherwise until I had the app but otherwise it works flawlessly and my plants love it! We are definitely getting the larger midel once we get our house, but not much room so I just needed it for 3 little babies I have going. So much better than the little quantum board light I had. Now hopefully it lasts a long time and I'll be sure to update this if anything does happen. But so far I think I made the right choice! Love the bar style of the light and easily covers the entire 3 by 3 space. Could probably cover more if I needed it to and I love that I can run it at 60% to 75% and only be using 200 watts! This light is super bright so make sure to wear glasses and cant wait to add the uv and ir bars! I'll post my results at the end for everyone! 10/01/23 So update: I am 2 days in and the device has completely stopped connecting to any wifi or blue tooth and I can no longer control the dimmer at all. So I can either use it at 10% or 100% which both are useless to me as I'm in veg! I hope mars has a solution and when I shut the light off in the app it is no longer shutting off. So I have no idea what is wrong with this. I have to manually unplug it to shut it off. The dimmer switch doesn't shut it off either anymore. UPDATE: Less than 1 month later the hardware failed and it no longer can be dimmed or connected to the app through blue tooth or wifi. I have gotten no help from mars with the issues which obviously are the hardware and am wondering why these are being sold for hundreds of dollars when they aren't worth anything close to that. I mean if the manual dimmer switch worked than it would be fine and I could still use it but the manual dimmer switch doesn't even work! Honestly I should have just saved up and bought the AC Infinity light but I thought mars was supposed to be a good brand but so far they suck! It was good for 30 days so now I'm suspicious. If I was someone looking for a new light, just save up and don't waste your money on these! If someone would have at least answered me and helped me fix the issue, I would have recommend the light cuz when it works it is nice but it has not worked almost at all and it supposed to be brand new and I just wish I had listened to the reviews. The hardware is complete junk!

Very solid light for the $$.
Ive had my 800w for 2years now and not 1 diode has burned out and not 1 issue with anything other then a higher then average yeild. I recently purchased 3 Flora Flex 700w crap sniffers and they are good for veg but let me tell you the flowering is nearly half the yeild of my 800w FCE by Mars/ BridgeLux I wish I could send the Flora Flex back for return they are so crappy and theyre hot compared to the FCE800w that I can run 100% and be very perfect temps not exceeding 90° F. I recently purchased the so called 730w FCE 6500 again and the price was great 389.+tax was 419 out the door...the amount of time money I wasted on soul nutrients and electric for the Flora Flex 3 runs back to back was staggering maybe 40-50% yeild reduction Im astonished to say the least. I felt like I was kicked in the family jewels tbh. In conclusion Ive not had any issues with wires or connections getting burned out not that it can't happen but for me Im very pleased with the BridgeLux spectrum for flowering is exceptional.

Great first upgrade for a lower budget.
On my second run with this light and it’s phenomenal for its price point. Barely any heat given off.
