This is the second time I've purchased these dried tomatoes at Amazon. They arrived quickly. They are salt-preserved so you must soak and rinse them before use. I keep them in EVOO after rinsing and letting them dry. After rinsing a small batch, I vacuum seal the rest in varied quantities and store in the refrigerator. I use them in salads and many different dishes. They can be addictive little snacks. You can't beat the price for the quantity you get

The value for the money would have been great....if I hadn't tossed them in the trash. I tried boiling the salt and bitterness out of them and they still tasted NOTHING like sun-dried tomatoes and actually ruined a dish. I don't know if this was just a bad batch of tomatoes or what, but I've tried a LOT of SDT in my lifetime and these are at the very bottom of the list.

These are salt preserved. So in most applications, they will need to be soaked first. But they have fine flavor and should last much longer being they are so heavily salted. These are a great value.

Received a month beyond the best buy date, package has a lot of air in it (is it supposed to?), and there is no "return" option that I can find. Would definitely return if I could.

Sooo salty. otherwise its decent dried tomatoes, they are a little on the dry side, probably related to LARGE AMOUNT OF SALT that comes with them.
