I'd give it 10 starts if I could
I ordered this to replace a single 120v NuWave cooktop that I had been using for over a year and was falling apart. Setup was easy. The most difficult thing was going to buy the plug which took all of 20 minutes. I purchased this based on the reviews on the other configuration which K & H stated was the same unit.I was amazed at the power this unit has compared to the NuWave. This unit can boil 8 oz of water in a 1 qt pan in aprox 45 seconds! Yes, I timed it. There are 17 cooking levels which I was concerned about compared to what I was used to but I have cooked and fried numerous meals and find these are more than enough. After bringing the heat up to what I want, maintenance levels are usually 4 or under so there are plenty of choices. The unit shuts off immediately if it detects a spill. I do not have children so I have not used the safety lock which is not enabled by default. The touch controls are easy and simple to understand - turn the unit on, choose a burner to use, and choose a power level - that's it. My only caution would be to make sure you are ready with your ingredients before turning on the burner, especially if you use a high power level. The pan is hot almost immediately so not a lot of time to start looking for oil or prepping food while it is heating up.I am using this as a counter top unit but it can be mounted as a built-in in the counter. To summarize, this is an incredibly powerful cooktop at a price that is far below it's competition. I am 100% happy with the unit and, if I was remodeling, would buy 2 of these and mount them in the countertop as my only cooking source. Time will tell how the hold up but it appears the unit is well built and I expect to be using this in the years to come.If you are concerned that this review is too glowing let me assure you I am only a customer and have no affiliation or connection with the manufacturer or seller. It's simply the best induction cooktop I have ever used and if you have a 240v power source I highly recommend this unit.

Great cooktop for vacation property - second review
First time with an induction cooktop - it is fast! Takes up very little space on the countertop and looks nice and sleek.Back with a second review: we have had this now for more than half a year in the hotel suite and it is a great cooktop. I highly recommend it. You can't get better for the price and for how safe and easy it is to cook on it. I have had only compliments from guests and never a complaint. I purchased a good inexpensive set of pots and pans from IKEA, and they all work great. I like that the cooktop won't start without a pan on, and that it's cool at touch.I think this is one of the rare induction cooktops that has the "vertical" design, so you save so much space on the countertop. I am posting some more pictures to show how nice it looks. Very happy with the purchase.

Clean and Efficient
So far I’m very pleased with this stove top. It cooks very fast and it looks great on my granite. The controls are easy to use and work just by touching, not having to press. This was my concern because pressing buttons do not last long. I tested to see if pots stay in place while cooking and they DO NOT slide off as a review I read claimed. I’m very pleased I bought this because it’s easy to keep clean and the surface does not present any harm from burning your hand after you’re done cooking although it notifies you that it’s hot. It’s quiet and it instantly boils water in about 3-4 min using a tea kettle.

This is a pretty nice unit
This is a pretty nice unit. We have it in a small basement apartment where we wanted to minimize the fire hazard and maximize the counter space. We've used it ourselves some. It installs easily into a quartz counter top - drop in and go. I hard-wired it. We have it over a wide 4-drawer base and the drawer directly below the unit is fully usable. There are 2 fans that blow down into the drawer, but only cool air as near as I can tell. There are little feet on the unit for setting it on the counter top if you want to do that, and I just left those on to ensure I had clearance. The big complaint with the other-brand similar looking unit is temperature control. This one seems to do well. It boils water or heats your saute pan really fast, but also makes rice without burning it. It can keep a small pot hot with out boiling, or keep it barely at boil. It does cycle on/off for heat control at the lower settings, so you might see your pot of water slowly cycle to a bit more boil, then none, if you are trying for a very, very low boil. But it seems to get it done. The biggest complaint is probably that the it's too easy to "touch" the touch controls and accidentally turn off a burner. Lets be clear, it's not a big unit, so a 10" saute pan in front is basically right at the touch controls and you can easily slide the pan and turn things on or off. But all-in-all, we are pretty darn happy with it.
