I purchased this pattern for a class at my local quilt shop. It's a really interesting quilt pattern that results in amazingly different quilts depending on the fabrics used, and a great study of Y-seams since the quilt is made up almost entirely of them. If you are already a fan of Jen Kingwell designs, the instructions should be fine for you. However, if you're new to Y-seams and hexagons, I recommend that you make this pattern in conjunction with a knowledgeable instructor. In my opinion, this is not for new quilters, but if you want a challenge this will be a good pattern for you.
