Good fit for 2008 dodge charger
Worked great for installing a double din aftermarket radio in my wife’s car. 2008 dodge charger RT. I had to do some trimming of the factory console, so it wasn’t a perfect fit, but it worked. My advice is to use masking tape or pen. and a dremel or similar tool. Only take off what you need for clearance, otherwise you’ll end up with a hacked up dash/center console.

Worked for 2015 Jeep Wrangler
This worked well for a 2015 Jeep Wrangler aftermarket radio installation. I needed to adjust it several times to get the fit correct but overall a good product and i recommend it. The installation looks very good.

Functional with standard installs
Firstly, the kit's fitment wasn't completely seamless. Despite efforts to properly install it, there remained a slight gap in some areas, which could allow a view through to the center dashboard. This was particularly noticeable when used alongside another kit to accommodate a unique 8-inch floating Pioneer display radio. While a portion of the gap was covered by the radio screen, the slight imperfection might bother those who are meticulous about installation details. With a regular unit I think it would work fine, but even with the extra pieces that slight gap is bothering me, whether it can be seen easily or not.

Good
Good fit the vehicle I was looking for. Easy to install. Cheaper than the parts stores.

perfect fit if you know what you're doing.
item fit perfectly into the radio bezel of my 2008 chrysler 300 lx. depending on the radio, the fit may be extremely tight (mine "pop'd" in with just a tiny bit of force). the plastic is sturdy however, due to different radio sizes and shapes there are quite a few "options" for mounting screw holes. this can leave the side somewhat flimsy so definitely do not over-tighten the screws.

2011 Dodge Nitro - Double Din Metra kit average at best for this model/year
This Metra kit is average at best. I have used Metra kits in the past and most work flawlessly. However, on the 2011 Dodge Nitro is kit is not great. Yes, there are many options as this kit comes with (6) pieces. (2) pieces are "L" shaped side mounting brackets that are labeled to be screwed into the side of your double din radio. You do not use the (4) included screws for this...you use what you had with the radio. The (4) included screws are for using the next (2) of the (4) included side gap covers for the front of the face plate. They are labeled "A" and "B" (you use either the (2) "A's" or (2) "B's") based on fit of your radio - you wont know which set until you install the head unit, "Left" and "Right" and show "Top" on each on. Actually, all of the pieces are labeled perfectly. So the bad, through much trial and error in the "fitting stage" you have to mount/install the radio to see if the side rail config you chose "fits" into console opening...the bad with the 2011 Nitro for fitment tests you need to almost do a full install to measure gaps, this means almost fully reinstalling the console cover as it snaps into the Metra Kit (huge pain in the butt, remove the locking tabs from your console that go into the kit until final reinstall). Also, after a couple of hours, as I am a perfectionist, I could not get the bottom face edge of the double din headunit to be flush with the console (not one side rail screw option worked)...the lower faceplate edge is recessed by about a 1/4 of an inch allowing you to see the console covers middle bracketing behind the plastic. My OCD hates it as it does not look nearly as good as other Metra kits I have used. Also, I had to dremel the top and bottom "tabs" on the nose plates to get the console cover to go over the kit just a little bit more/better. The top and bottom tabs were holding up/pushing out the cars console cover. So the short, many side rail configs, short nose and long nose side gap pieces included, but the fitment is questionable without a dremel and creativity. Lastly, I may go back and try to dremel off the side tabs of the kit that connect to the cars console cover to see if that allows the cars cover plate to get pushed further "back" in the install which would allow the head units face to come forward over the console plates lower edge....but this is what I meant when I said...average at best at least for the 2011 Dodge Nitro Edit July 10th 2019 (see photos): Ok, I was not happy looking at this so I went back and cut off the (2) side tabs and put (2) washers in between the Metra kit and the chassis. Almost perfect fitment now. Pictures attached. Prior to this the bottom middle of the console was out further then the bottom of the head unit creating a gap. Still giving 3 stars due to the amount of cutting you have to do to get it right. Again this review only applies to the 2011 Dodge Nitro

Wow it’s looks amazing
I have used Metra in 95% of the 30+ cars I’ve purchased. WOW this kit makes this after market CarPlay radio look like it was a factory option. Thank you Amazon

and I had to trim about 1mm of plastic on those front pieces(wing like things) in order for the radio to sit flush ...
Installed on my 2012 Jeep Pat.. Works perfectly.. However.. I got a Pioneer touch screen avh-x2800bs, and I had to trim about 1mm of plastic on those front pieces(wing like things) in order for the radio to sit flush with the dash sides of this dash kit.. Some radios may not need this, but with out the trim, I couldn't move the radio flush those front side wings.. The mounting holes on the radio sides, and ones that mount into the jeep spots, line up perfectly! It's really hard to explain I guess... Basically... My radio wouldn't slide all the way forward, and flush because the front opening that sits flush with the dash was too small.. This has NOTHING to do with the mounting holes on the sides(for the radio) or the mounts on the side to the jeep frame.
